PriorityPots

PriorityPots is a lightweight addon for World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Anniversary that automatically maintains three character-specific macros:

• PrioPots Mana
• PrioPots Health
• PrioPots HS

Each macro selects the highest-priority supported consumable currently in your bags and keeps lower-priority items as fallbacks. The macro icon and tooltip follow the current top choice.

If no eligible item is available, the macro uses Blizzard's clear minus-symbol artwork. Clicking it prints a prominent red warning and plays a short matching voice alert, so the empty state is both visible and audible.

Smart priorities

• Gives usable location-restricted consumables priority in Coilfang Reservoir, Tempest Keep, Blade's Edge Mountains, and Gruul's Lair.
• Prefers stronger normal mana and healing potions over weaker tiers.
• Handles all six TBC Healthstone ranks, including the 0/2, 1/2, and 2/2 Improved Healthstone variants.
• Uses item IDs, so it works on non-English clients.

Simple settings

Run /ppots to open the settings panel. From there you can:

• Enable or disable missing-item chat warnings.
• Enable or disable missing-item voice alerts.
• Choose exactly which supported mana and healing potions the addon may use.
• Enable or disable the whole Mana or Health list with one click.

Settings are saved per character. Healthstones stay automatic and always use their strongest-first priority order.

Automatic updates

PriorityPots rescans when your bags or location change, including after the final item in a stack is consumed. World of Warcraft blocks macro editing during combat, so any required change is safely applied as soon as combat ends. Existing fallback lines normally keep the macro usable in the meantime.

The bundled voice alerts were generated with the Apache-2.0-licensed Kokoro-82M text-to-speech model. No model code or model weights are included.

Installation and use

Install the addon, log in or reload the UI, then open /macro. In the character-specific tab, drag the three PriorityPots macros to your action bars.

Run /ppots at any time to open the settings panel.

Three free character-specific macro slots are required. If those slots are full, free enough space and run /ppots again.

Consumable scope

The curated list includes TBC mana and healing potion tiers, Bottled Nethergon Energy/Vapor, Cenarion Salves, Ogre Brews, Injectors, other appropriate restoration potions, and all TBC Healthstone ranks and Improved variants.

Hybrid restoration potions, Dreamless Sleep potions, Fel potions, runes, mana gems, food/drink, battleground draughts, and PvP combat potions are intentionally excluded because they use different cooldown behavior or can have material side effects.
