Tooltips in TrinketCoach show the item as it will actually be, not the base template - here a crafted dagger at 331 instead of 44, with the stats and upgrade track to match.
Description
TrinketCoach is a trinket tier coach for retail WoW - built for the one slot where item level lies to you. A lower item level trinket is often your real best-in-slot, and no ilvl-based addon will tell you that. TrinketCoach will.
WHAT IT DOES
- Trinket tier lists (S / A / B / C) for ALL 39 specs, updated per season. Tiers are guide consensus: Icy Veins tier lists cross-checked against Bloodmallet sims. Every item ID is verified against the item database before it ships.
- - Tier on the tooltip: hover any listed trinket anywhere (bags, loot, dungeon journal, AH) and see "TrinketCoach: S-tier" with your spec's icon. If the trinket is BETTER for another spec of your class, you get an offspec line too - so you know when to grab it for your tank set.
- - Tier-list window: colored S/A/B/C bands with item cards, collected checkmarks (equipped / in bags), and max item level badges. Browse ALL classes and specs with one click - check what your alts or teammates should chase.
- - Ranking graph: a Warcraft Logs style chart that splits your trinkets into RAID / MYTHIC+ / OPEN WORLD and ranks them within each - so you know what to chase in the content you actually play tonight.
- - CRAFTED tab with a character-sheet paperdoll: your recommended crafted pieces light up gold on the slot they belong to, with the recommended embellishment on hover.
- - NEXT: the coach call. One highlighted recommendation for the smartest chase right now - crafted beats farmable beats lockout beats lottery.
HONESTY POLICY
Tiers are buckets, not fake precision. Within a tier, ordering follows the guides' real ranking - but we never print made-up percentages. Your exact answer always comes from a Raidbots sim, and the addon says so right in the window.
USAGE
/trinketcoach or /tc toggles the window. /tc tooltip toggles tooltip lines. Part of the Coach series with StatCoach (stat priorities + cap coaching) and GearCoach (TBC BiS checklists).
