Smart Sheathe is a lightweight World of Warcraft addon that automatically manages weapon sheathing based on combat, hostile targets, resting areas, and your selected restrictions.

Configuration

Open the configurator with /ss or /smartsheathe. It is also available through Blizzard’s Settings > AddOns menu.

Features

• Adjustable sheathing delay from 1–60 seconds.
• Automatically unsheathes when targeting a living hostile enemy.
• Automatically unsheathes when entering combat.
• Automatically sheathes after combat or hostile-target activity ends.
• Instantly sheathes while resting when enabled.
• Cancels pending sheathing when combat begins or a hostile target is selected.
• Optionally pauses automatic sheathing after manually unsheathing.
• Optionally disables automation for Mages, Priests, and Warlocks.
• Optionally disables automation in dungeons, raids, battlegrounds, arenas, and other PvP instances.
• Friendly and neutral targets do not automatically unsheathe weapons.
• Includes manual Sheathe and Unsheathe buttons in the configurator.
• Supports account-wide profiles with create, save, switch, delete, and reset options.
• Includes an optional Debug Mode for diagnostic messages.
• Remembers configurator position and settings between sessions.
