Description

ShackleKeeper

ShackleKeeper is a focused crowd-control timer for Priests in World of Warcraft Classic Era. It tracks your own Shackle Undead, warns when it is time to recast, and reports how an active Shackle ended.

The addon never casts automatically and does not change your action bars.

Features

  • Rank-r and diagnostic-log windows

Copyable debug log

Saved window

  • correct PvE countdown for Shackle Undead
  • Prewarning plus cast-time and optional latency marker
  • Refresh detection
  • Normal expiry without a false break warning
  • Melee and spell break detection
  • Breaker name and breaking spell from the combat log
  • Remaining Shackle time shown when a break occurs
  • Detection of resisted, immune and missed casts
  • Conservative unknown early-break warning when no culprit can be confirmed
  • Movable and scalable timer, Breake
  • positions and settings
  • Hidden group communication in PARTY, RAID and INSTANCE_CHAT
  • Event-ID deduplication for network messages
  • Optional visible PARTY announcements, disabled by default

Supported Classic Era ranks

Rank Spell ID PvE duration
1 9484 30 seconds
2 9485 40 seconds
3 10955 50 seconds

PvP diminishing returns are not modeled.

Break attribution

For confirmed combat-log break events, ShackleKeeper displays the player who broke the Shackle. Spell breaks also display the breaking spell and the amount of crowd-control time that was still remaining.

If the Shackle aura disappears clearly before its expected expiry and the combat log provides no confirmed breaker, dispel or damage event, ShackleKeeper reports an unknown early break. It does not blame a player. This may represent a heartbeat resist or another cause not exposed by the combat log.

Failed new casts such as RESIST, IMMUNE or MISS are shown separately and have no remaining-time value because no new Shackle aura was applied.

Group communication

ShackleKeeper can share Breaker events invisibly with other ShackleKeeper users in the group. Supported channels are PARTY, RAID and INSTANCE_CHAT. Event IDs prevent a sender's echoed addon message from creating duplicate entries.

Public PARTY announcements are available as an option and are off by default.
