RL Auto Announcer

A World of Warcraft addon that automatically posts messages to various chat channels at configurable time intervals. Perfect for guild advertising, raid calls, and any repetitive announcements.

Installation

1. Download the addon files
2. Extract them to your World of Warcraft Interface\AddOns folder
3. Restart the game client
4. Enable the addon in the AddOns menu

Usage

Via UI

1. Click the minimap button or type /rlaa to open the UI
2. Enter your message in the Messages tab
3. Select the desired channel from the dropdown
4. For custom channels, enter the channel name (e.g., "world" or "trade")
5. Set the interval in seconds (minimum 10)
6. Click Add to save the message
7. Click Start to begin posting the message automatically

Global Controls

• Start All: Starts all inactive messages at once
• Stop All: Stops all active messages at once
• The status indicator shows how many messages are currently active

Chat Commands

• /rlaa or /rlautoannouncer — Toggle the UI
• /rlaa stop — Stop all timers
• /rlaa debug — Toggle debug mode

Channel Permissions

Some channels have restrictions:

• Raid Warning: Requires Leader, Assistant, or Officer status
• Instance Chat: Only available when in an instance group
• Guild: Requires being in a guild
• Party/Raid: Requires being in a group/raid

Localization

The addon automatically detects your client language and displays text accordingly:

• English (enUS) — Default
• German (deDE) — When playing on German client
