Description
Early version. It hasn't seen many raid nights yet, so there will be bugs. Tell me when you find one.
Leading a raid is a lot of small jobs before the first pull. Who's coming, who can I still invite, do we have a lust and a battle res, who forgot their flask again. I wanted all of that in one window instead of five, so I made RaidPilot.
It's a board that follows your raid through the night. Before you invite anyone it shows your week. While the group fills up it shows who you have and what you still need. Before the pull it shows who isn't ready. When the raid ends it writes the night down. You don't have to switch pages yourself, it does that for you.
Only you need the addon. Nobody else in the raid has to install anything.
Open it with /rp or the minimap button. If you just want to look around, /rp demo gives you a fake raid to click through.

Plan
This is what you see when you're not in a group yet. Your lockouts for the week and which boss is next, plus the raid, difficulty and size you want to run. Pick 20 players and it tells you how many tanks, healers and damage that needs.
From here you can invite everyone in your guild who's online with one click, and you can limit that to a rank and up. You can also save a raid as a team and invite the same people next week. Save more than one if you run a heroic group and a mythic group.
Form
Once people start joining, the roster shows up as raid groups, coloured by class like your raid frames. You can drag a player to another group and they really move in the raid. Drop them on someone in a full group and the two swap places. Empty spots stay visible so you can see how many you still need.
Below the roster is a list of what your raid brings: Bloodlust, battle res and the raid buffs. Anything nobody has is shown in amber together with the classes that could bring it. Handy when you're deciding who gets the last spot.
Applicants
When your group is listed in the Group Finder, the people who apply show up in the side panel. They're sorted so the ones you need most are on top. Someone who fills an open role comes first, then someone who brings a buff you're missing.
Each one shows item level, raid progress and their best Warcraft Logs parse. Hover for the full logs and hold Shift to see every boss. The logs need the Archon Tooltip addon and the progress needs Raider.IO. If you don't have those the list still works, you just get less info on strangers.
You can also tag players as Good, Trial or Avoid and leave yourself a note. Next time that player applies you'll see it right away.
Ready
Start the ready check from the board and every player lights up green or amber. The side panel lists who hasn't answered, who's offline and who's still in another zone.
It also catches what a ready check doesn't. Who has no flask, who has no food, which raid buffs are missing and who isn't running a boss mod (BigWigs or DBM). The problem is written right on that player so you don't have to hunt for names. If you don't feel like typing it all out, one button posts it in raid chat.
There's a pull timer and a break button too. The pull timer is the normal game countdown so everyone sees it. The break goes out as a raid warning with the time to be back.
Wrap
When the raid breaks up the board shows you the night. Every boss with how many pulls it took, who got what loot and who was there. It keeps your last ten nights, so you can see attendance per player, who has been getting the loot and who has been sitting on the bench the most. There's a button to copy a night as text so you can paste it in Discord.
Other things it does
- Invites anyone who whispers you a word you pick. This is off until you turn it on.
- Opens by itself when you list a raid or start a ready check, and closes when the fight starts. You can turn both off.
- Remembers the roles of your regulars and sets them with one click.
- Gives you a Warcraft Logs link for any player in the raid.
What it doesn't do
- It won't list your group for you. Blizzard wants you to click that button yourself.
- It does nothing during a fight. This isn't a boss mod.
- It doesn't hand out loot or run DKP. It only keeps track.
