McAwesome Action Bars

McAwesome Action Bars is a complete, customizable action-bar replacement for WoW Forever/Camelot.

It provides a cleaner interface while retaining Blizzard’s secure action system, keybindings, action paging, spell placement, macros, and protected combat behavior.

An optional wallet strip can display:

• Combat visibility preferences

Imports never copy spells, macros, actions, keybindings, or other gameplay data. A session undo option is available for the most recent import.

Configuration

Open the configuration using:

• The McAwesome Action Bars minimap icon
• /maab
• /maab options
• The AddOns section of the game options

If McAwesome Maps is installed, the minimap launcher is collected into its Tools tray.

Slash Commands

• /maab — Open the configuration
• /maab lock — Lock all bar positions
• /maab unlock — Unlock bars for positioning
• /maab reset — Reset bar positions
• /maab help — Display available commands

Combat Safety

McAwesome Action Bars uses Blizzard’s secure action system. Protected changes that cannot be safely applied during combat are deferred until combat ends.

Bars remain visible during combat by default, with an optional setting to hide them.

Compatibility

Built specifically for the WoW Forever/Camelot client using interface version 16001.

This addon is not intended for Retail WoW.
