TBC CLASSIC 2.5.6 • GUILD DATABASE • IN-GAME SYNCHRONIZATION
A Living Workshop for Your Guild
MaxGuildCraftingNetwork transforms the profession knowledge of individual characters into a practical resource for the entire guild. Instead of repeatedly asking in guild chat who can craft a particular item, members can search a shared in-game database and immediately discover which character knows the required recipe.
Every participating crafter contributes to a growing guild workshop. Main characters and alternate characters become part of the same network, making professions, skill levels and rare recipes easier to find whenever the guild needs equipment, consumables, enchants, components or specialist services.
How the Network Works
Each character can create a crafting profile containing their name, realm, guild, class, level, professions, profession skill levels, scanned recipes and latest update. These profiles are stored locally and exchanged with online guild members who also use the addon.
The normal workflow is simple:
- Open a profession window on the character you want to register.
- Scan Open Recipes to save the recipes currently visible to the TBC client.
- Update & Share to refresh the character profile and send it to participating guild members.
Repeat the scan for every profession you want to publish. Previously stored recipes are preserved, and the database remains available between game sessions through SavedVariables.
Search the Entire Guild
The main database provides a clear overview of all stored crafters. Character entries include their profession coverage, skill values, recipe totals and latest update. The player search can identify information by character name, realm, guild, class, profession or known recipe.
Selecting a character opens their detailed recipe collection. This is useful when you already know the artisan and want to inspect what they can make.
All Crafters expands the search across every stored profile at the same time. Enter a complete or partial recipe name and the addon identifies matching recipes, their professions and the guild characters who know them.
Designed for Real Guild Needs
The shared database helps members locate:
- Rare and high-level profession recipes
- Weapons, armor, bags and leveling equipment
- Enchantments, gems and profession components
- Potions, elixirs, food and raid consumables
- Resistance gear and progression supplies
- Useful professions owned by alternate characters
Social guilds can use it to connect players more easily. Progression guilds can use it to understand profession coverage and prepare supplies. New members can find the correct artisan without already knowing every character in the roster. Profession collectors gain visibility for recipes that might otherwise remain forgotten on an alt.
Powerful, Focused Filters
Large crafting collections can contain hundreds of entries. The Recipe Search field filters results by recipe name, while the Profession Filter restricts the list to the profession you need. Both filters work when viewing an individual character and when searching the entire network through All Crafters.
A dedicated Clear control resets the active filters and restores the complete list.
Guild Synchronization
MaxGuildCraftingNetwork uses World of Warcraft’s internal addon communication system. It requires no website, external account, cloud service or companion application.
- Update & Share refreshes the current character profile and broadcasts it to the guild.
- Scan Open Recipes reads the profession window currently open on screen.
- Request Guild Data asks online addon users to transmit their stored profiles.
- Share Database distributes locally stored profiles to help populate or restore the network.
Only guild members with the addon installed can send, receive and interpret this information. Offline players cannot answer a live request, but profiles received in earlier sessions remain stored until a newer version replaces them.
Clear Two-Panel Interface
The left panel contains the shared crafter database, character search, profile count and character selection. The right panel displays the selected crafter, recipe totals, recipe search, profession filter, All Crafters control and matching recipe results.
Contextual messages explain what to do when no character is selected, no recipes have been stored or a search returns no match. A dedicated Procedure section guides new users through scanning and synchronization directly inside the game.
Minimap Access
The addon includes a movable minimap button featuring the Osteria Arcana emblem.
- Left-click: open or close the main interface.
- Right-click: perform a quick Update & Share.
- Drag: move the icon around the minimap.
The button can be hidden, restored or reset, and its position and visibility remain saved between sessions.
Osteria Arcana Visual Edition
This edition gives the addon a distinctive fantasy identity inspired by the Osteria Arcana guild. Its black and antique-gold interface presents the database as an arcane tavern and shared workshop where blacksmiths, alchemists, enchanters, tailors, leatherworkers, engineers, jewelcrafters, cooks and adventurers bring their knowledge together.
The package includes a custom guild emblem, themed borders and headings, an internal emblem watermark and matching artwork for the minimap and AddOn-list icon. The interface automatically displays the active character’s guild name, while Osteria Arcana remains the fallback identity of this edition.

Recommended Guild Routine
For the most complete database, every participating member should log in with each useful crafting character, open every profession window individually, scan the available recipes and use Update & Share when finished.
Repeat the process whenever important recipes are learned or profession skill levels change. Use Request Guild Data periodically while guild members are online. The more players participate, the more accurate and valuable the shared workshop becomes.
Privacy and Scope
All collected information comes from normal in-game character and profession data. It is stored locally and exchanged only through World of Warcraft’s guild addon communication channel. No external server, analytics service, registration or personal-data upload is required.
The addon does not automate crafting, transfer materials or create orders on behalf of the player. It provides the information required to find the correct guild member and organize the craft directly.
Turn Your Guild Roster into a Living Workshop
Connect characters, professions and recipes—so every member can find the right artisan when it matters.
