Magpie watches your group's loot and tells you when another player gets something you want. Click their name, and Magpie targets them and sends a short, polite whisper asking for it. No more scrolling through loot chat or typing the same request by hand.

Features

Wishlist alerts
- Build a wishlist by shift-clicking items, dragging them in, or typing an item ID.
- Each character has its own wishlist. Export and Import let you copy a list to another character.
- Wishlist items always alert, whatever their quality.

Upgrade alerts
- Get alerted when someone loots gear that is an upgrade for your character.
- Uses Pawn to decide if it is installed, and shows what the item would replace when you hover it.
- Without Pawn, it compares item level only, for gear your class and armor type can use. These rows are labeled "Item level upgrade only".
- Items your class cannot use are never listed.

The popup
- Shows each player as Name-Realm in their class color, plus the item. Hover for the tooltip.
- Click to whisper, right-click to dismiss, Shift+Right-Click to never be alerted about that player.
- Rows clear when the player leaves your group, and after the 2-hour trade window.
- A count appears on the minimap button while rows are waiting.

Whispers
- Six editable whispers: three for wishlist items and three for upgrades. One is picked at random each time.
- Use {item} where the item link should go.
- Reset to the defaults any time.

History
- See who you have whispered, which item, and when.
- When an item is traded to you, the entry is marked as received, and the item can be removed from your wishlist automatically.

Filters
- Choose where alerts run: raids, dungeons, Mythic+, or everywhere else.
- Set the lowest item quality for upgrade alerts.
- Optionally wait until combat ends before the popup appears.
- Choose your alert sound and preview it.

Extras
- Alerts you when a wishlist item comes up for a Need/Greed roll.
- Minimap button, which you can hide.
- Optional **ElvUI** skin when ElvUI is installed.

Getting started

1. Type /m or /magpie to open the settings window.
2. Add items to your wishlist on the Settings tab.
3. Type /m test to preview the popup using your own character.

Optional addons
- Pawn: used for upgrade decisions when installed.
- ElvUI: Magpie matches its look when installed.

Commands
- /m or /magpie will open the settings window.
- /m test will show sample popup rows.
