What's new

Changelog

Version 1.0.2 is the version for the live start on 5 November 2026. It brings two optional modules, Disenchant and Decipher (Comprehension), that show the best way per item or scroll and work through a queue with one click or key, paces the mail by your connection, books COD payments reliably and keeps the reset times right across the change of daylight saving time. Below are all changes since v1.0.1.

New

  • Optional module Disenchant (switch it on under Settings › Modules): its own tab under Planning, below Professions, with a settings page (lead of disenchanting over the best other way, need of the family first, material tooltip, protection of the queue, qualities, sending to the family's enchanters, closing in combat) and the key "Disenchant the next item" under Key Bindings › AddOns (no key preset).
  • With the module, the tooltip compares the ways after the cut: "Disenchant ~" stands beside Vendor and Auction house, a green star marks the best way; with Shift the materials with share, amount and price, your own observations, "Best way (net)" and, for a character without Enchanting, the enchanter of the family. Every enchanter can disenchant every item (no minimum skill on Forever). Disenchanting wins with a need of the family or a lead of 10 % (setting).
  • Enchanting materials show which gear they come from and how many matching items the family holds.
  • Bag marks of the module: ✦ disenchant it, ✉ send it to an enchanter of the family, ! recommended, but this character cannot disenchant it and it is bound, or there is no enchanter in the family.
  • The Disenchant tab lists the gear of your bags with the advice; ticked items go into a queue, and one button (or its key) disenchants one item per press. Items worth 2 gold or more, upgrades, items a goal needs and parts of equipment sets are not queued by themselves (page Protected, "Queue anyway" for this session); items the game refuses go to the Blocklist. The button waits while the loot window of the last disenchant or a dialog of the game is open; LJFT never answers a dialog. In combat the button does nothing and the window closes (setting).
  • Mail module: unbound gear disenchanting wins for goes to an enchanter of the family, for every character and also without the module Disenchant (Settings › Modules, card Mail, "Send gear for disenchanting to your enchanters": on by default, with a short explanation; receiver the enchanter with the lowest skill or always the main enchanter, both explained below the button). It is part of the distribution, and the button "Enchanters: letter" on the Send page fills one letter per click (at most 12 items). The switch "Receives disenchant candidates" in the character profile is gone.
  • With the module, a character without Enchanting sees "Send to enchanters" with the same items and recipients; "Prepare mail" uses the same letter of the Mail module.
  • Market › Yield (with the module): what each disenchant gave against the best other way at that time, the sum of the week, and the observed shares per quality, level band and weapon/armour; from 30 observations they replace the estimate in the tooltip. A filter shows all modules' casts or one of them.
  • Optional module Comprehension for mages (switch it on under Settings › Modules): its own tab Decipher under Planning, below Disenchant. It lists the scrolls in your bags with the skill each one needs; ticked scrolls go into a queue, and one button (or the key "Decipher the next scroll" under Key Bindings › AddOns) deciphers one scroll per press and waits for the cast to finish. Moving interrupts it without harm. What a scroll gave is recorded from your own results; Market › Yield shows it with your skill before and after.
  • Scroll of Comprehension: per character "never", "only when needed" (default: a scroll up to 15 above your skill) or "always without the buff". When it is needed, the button uses the Scroll of Comprehension first and deciphers with the next press. The side shows the buff with the minutes left.
  • With the module, the tooltip of a scroll shows "Decipher ~" beside Vendor and Auction house from your own results ("no data yet" before the first one), the green star when deciphering wins; with Shift the results, the skill it needs and yours, the buff and, for a character who cannot decipher, the mage of the family. Scrolls get a bag mark in the top left corner. Scrolls worth 2 gold or more are not queued by themselves.
  • Mail module: scrolls you can't decipher go to a mage of the family whose skill is enough, also scrolls without own results (Settings › Modules, card Mail, "Send scrolls to your mages" and "Also scrolls without own results", both on by default; receiver the lowest skill that is enough or always the main mage); if no mage has the skill yet, the main mage keeps the scroll for later. Mages never pass scrolls on; only scrolls of high value stay. The button "Mages: letter" on the Send page fills one letter per click.
  • The Disenchant and Decipher buttons are hidden and emptied by the game itself when a fight starts, so a key press at that moment casts nothing.
  • Comprehension: after the Scroll of Comprehension the button waits until its buff is there; an interrupted use is used again. A failed attempt keeps the scroll in the queue and is recorded with your skill and the buff; the tooltip shows the success rate with Shift, and Market › Yield the failed attempts. Scrolls deciphered from the spell book or a macro are recorded too.
  • Disenchant and Decipher windows show their own cast bar under the button: the item, the spell and the time left, "Done" in green, "Interrupted" or "Failed" in red with the reason, and what the button waits for (loot window, a dialog of the game, the buff, combat). The cast bars of the game or of other addons are not touched.
  • /ljft diag names the interface number of the game next to the addon's and whether your client build is the tested one.

Fixed

  • The auction house value after the cut now matches the game to the copper (the game rounds the cut down).
  • The next weekly reset and the next raid day stay right across a change of daylight saving time: no empty reset in the hour after it, no hour off for a week. LJFT uses the realm's own change days (a US realm changes on 1 November, Europe on 25 October); the realm's clock is measured, also on a realm with the same time as yours.
  • The next daily, weekly and 3-day resets now come from the server when it tells them; otherwise LJFT keeps to the realm's clock and corrects itself when the server's moment differs.
  • "Take all" now takes every letter with one click, also with a high ping: it waits until the inbox shows each action done, paces itself by your connection, tries an action up to three times and takes letters that arrive meanwhile.
  • The bag marks no longer stutter on a character without plans of its own while the family's profession plans are worked out.
  • "Gold only", taking a single letter or attachment, COD, return, delete, the mail distribution and splitting stacks now also wait for each step and pace themselves by your connection; a COD is never paid twice.
  • Returning or deleting a letter is no longer repeated: if the game refuses or does not answer, LJFT names the letter and stops.
  • A COD payment the game answers late is still booked in the trade ledger – by the late answer or at the next look into the mailbox; if it cannot be matched for sure it is marked "(unconfirmed)".
  • Weapons and armor far above a creature's level (a required level more than 10 above it) are no longer learned as its drops; pickpocketing and skinning still learn them. Drops of this kind that were learned before are removed once.
  • An unconfirmed COD payment in the trade ledger stays a row of its own and can be removed after a question; a COD letter you sent back is not booked. To decide, LJFT takes the gold it saw come and go meanwhile into account (gold from letters, vendor sales, postage).
