Quest Item Marker

Marks the items in your bags that your active quests need. That includes the ones the game doesn't flag as quest items: cloth, meat, ore, pelts and other drops that count towards an objective.

How it works

Quest Item Finder reads the collection objectives in your quest log and matches them to the items in your bags. Each match gets a gold ! badge on its bag slot. Hover over the item and the tooltip shows the quest and your progress, for example:

Completed objectives show in green. Items stay marked until you hand the quest in, so you don't sell, bank or delete them early.

Options

Everything is set in Options > AddOns > Kedge's Quest Item Finder, or type /kqif. No file editing needed. Settings are saved per character.

• Turn bag badges on or off, and choose their corner.
• Choose whether items the game already flags as quest items get a badge too.
• Turn the tooltip line on or off.
• Choose whether to keep marking items after their objective is done.

Compatibility

Badges show on the standard bag windows, including the combined backpack. If you use a different bag addon, the tooltip line still works.

Installation

1. Copy the KedgesQuestItemFinder folder into Interface/AddOns.
2. Restart the client.
