A lightweight guild recruiting tool for WoW Classic. Find unguilded players through automated /who scanning and reach out with one click.

Built to add value, not spam. Guild recruiting in Classic can be tedious — cycling through /who results by hand, losing track of who you've already messaged, and accidentally whispering the same person twice. ImpulseRecruiter streamlines that workflow while respecting other players: a 24-hour whisper blacklist prevents duplicate messages, throttled sending keeps outreach at a human pace, and class/level filters let you target players who are actually a good fit for your guild.

Features

Smart Player Discovery

• Each click of Search cycles through classes automatically (/who 60-70 Warrior, then Paladin, Hunter, etc.), so every search returns fresh results instead of the same random subset
• If any single class exceeds the 50-player /who cap, the level range is automatically split and re-queried for full coverage
• Results populate in a scrollable list showing name, level, class, and zone

Filtering

• Level Range — Set a min/max level to target the players you want
• Class Filter — Toggle individual classes on or off with color-coded buttons — disabled classes are skipped during search entirely, saving you clicks

Recruiting Actions

• Invite — Send a guild invite directly from the player list
• Whisper — Send your recruiting message to a specific player
• Send All — Bulk whisper every eligible player in the filtered list with a single click (throttled at 1 per second to avoid spam)

Multiple Whisper Messages

• Create and manage multiple recruiting messages from the Messages tab
• Switch between messages with a dropdown selector
• Edit or delete messages at any time
• Click a message in the list to set it as the active one

Whisper Blacklist

• Players are automatically blacklisted for 24 hours after being whispered, so you never message someone twice
• View all blacklisted players in the Blacklist tab with timestamps and expiry countdowns
• Remove individual entries or clear the entire blacklist

Quality of Life

• Draggable window with saved position across sessions
• All settings (level range, class filters, messages, blacklist) persist between sessions
• Clean tabbed interface: Players, Blacklist, Messages
• Class-colored names and tooltips with race, level, and zone info

Usage

Type /ir or /impulserecruiter to open the window.

1. Set your desired level range
2. Toggle class filters if needed
3. Click Search to start scanning (click again after the cooldown to continue)
4. Whisper or invite players from the list, or use Send All to message everyone at once

Slash Commands
