A Blizzard-style Alliance Roster for GreenWall Confederations

GreenWall Roster adds a unified roster window that displays members from every guild in your GreenWall confederation in a single Blizzard-style interface.

Designed specifically for guild alliances and multi-guild raid teams, GreenWall Roster lets officers and members quickly see who is online across all connected guilds without replacing or modifying GreenWall's chat functionality.

Requirements

Required Addon

GreenWall Roster requires the original GreenWall addon.

It does not replace GreenWall.

GreenWall handles:

• guild communications
• addon messaging
• cross-guild synchronization

GreenWall Roster simply displays the information collected by GreenWall in an easy-to-use roster window.

Without GreenWall installed and configured, GreenWall Roster cannot display players from other guilds.

Installation

1. Install GreenWall TBC Anniversary
2. Install GreenWall Roster
3. Restart World of Warcraft
4. Open the roster

Using GreenWall Roster

Refresh

Refresh updates the display using the information currently stored by GreenWall.

No network traffic is generated.

Scan

Scan requests an updated roster from a confederated guild.

To reduce addon spam, scans are limited to once every 30 seconds.

Player List

The roster displays:

• Character Name
• Level
• Class
• Zone
• Guild

Clicking column headers sorts the roster.

Right-click Player

Right-click a player for quick actions.

Available actions include:

• Whisper
• Invite to Group
• Copy Character Name

(If your WoW client supports the context menu version included.)

Why GreenWall Roster?

The default WoW Guild Roster only displays members of your own guild.

Many guild alliances raid together across multiple guilds.

GreenWall already synchronizes guild information—but until now there wasn't a Blizzard-style roster that displayed everyone together.

GreenWall Roster fills that gap.

Does this addon modify GreenWall?

No.

GreenWall Roster does not modify GreenWall's communication system.

It only reads the synchronized roster information that GreenWall already provides.

Performance

GreenWall Roster uses minimal memory and CPU.

It only updates when:

• the roster changes
• you refresh
• you perform a scan

No continuous polling is performed.

FAQ

Do all guilds need GreenWall?

Yes.

Every guild participating in the confederation must have GreenWall installed.

Do all guilds need GreenWall Roster?

No.

Only players who want the combined roster need to install GreenWall Roster.

Can this replace GreenWall?

No.

GreenWall is required.

GreenWall Roster is an extension that adds a unified roster window.

Can I invite players from another guild?

Yes.

Right-click a player and choose Invite to Group.

Does this affect guild chat?

No.

GreenWall Roster does not alter chat behavior.
