Forever Cursor FX

Forever Cursor FX is a customizable cursor enhancement addon created for World of Warcraft Classic Forever. It makes your cursor easier to locate during combat, raids, professions, inventory management, and everyday gameplay.

Choose from multiple cursor shapes, colors, animated trails, shadows, and visibility settings through a clean, professional interface inspired by the dark appearance of addons such as TradeSkillMaster.

Built-In Presets

Quickly change the entire appearance with five included presets:

• Arcane

• Inferno

• Nature

• Shadow

• Minimal

You can also customize the effects and save your own character profile.

Easy Access

Forever Cursor FX can be opened through:

• The movable minimap button

• Blizzard’s Addon Compartment

• A compatible LibDataBroker display

• /fcfx

• /forevercursor

Right-click the launcher to quickly enable or disable the cursor effects.

Commands

/fcfx — Opens or closes the settings window.

/forevercursor — Opens or closes the settings window.

/fcfx toggle — Enables or disables all cursor effects.

/fcfx reset — Restores the default settings.

Installation

1. Download and extract the addon.

2. Place the ForeverCursorFX folder inside your WoW AddOns directory.

3. The usual Beta installation path is:

World of Warcraft/_classic_beta_/Interface/AddOns/

1. Restart World of Warcraft or type /reload.

2. Open the addon using the minimap icon, Addon Compartment, or /fcfx.

Make sure the folder is installed as:

AddOns/ForeverCursorFX/ForeverCursorFX.toc

Avoid creating an additional nested folder such as:

AddOns/ForeverCursorFX/ForeverCursorFX/ForeverCursorFX.toc

Profiles and Saved Settings

Settings are stored separately for each character. A custom profile can also be saved and loaded through the settings window.

This allows different characters to use different cursor colors, effect sizes, trails, and visibility options.

Compatibility

Forever Cursor FX includes support for:

• WoW Classic Forever Beta

• Blizzard Addon Compartment

• LibDataBroker displays

• Minimap-button collection addons that recognize Addon Compartment or LibDataBroker launchers

Because WoW Classic Forever is still in development, Blizzard may change its interface or addon API. Please report any problems with the game build number and the full Lua error message.

Reporting Problems

When reporting an issue, please include:

• The Forever Cursor FX version

• Your WoW Classic Forever build

• What you were doing when the problem occurred

• Any Lua error messages

• Whether other addons were enabled

• A screenshot when possible

Testing with only Forever Cursor FX enabled can help determine whether another addon is causing a conflict.
