Description
EasyFind: ALL THE THINGS Extension
ALL THE THINGS in EasyFind's search. Type a quest, mount, pet, toy or item you are after: ALL THE THINGS' quests come up by name, questline or reward, and the line under the name of EasyFind's own rows says where a thing comes from. Hover a row: its tooltip says whether you have it and lists every source in ALL THE THINGS' own words.
Requires EasyFind 4.2.0 or later and ALL THE THINGS. Both are listed as required dependencies, so the CurseForge app installs them alongside.
What it adds
- ALL THE THINGS' quests in the search, found by name, questline or reward ("shadowmourne" finds its questline). The line under each quest's name says where it is, and its tooltip whether you have done it; a click gives directions there. With the Questie extension on, its quest info goes onto the quests Questie shows instead.
- On EasyFind's own mount, pet, toy, appearance, item, heirloom, title, achievement, recipe and decor rows, the line under the name says where the thing comes from, such as "ATT: from The Lich King, Icecrown Citadel", when ALL THE THINGS names a creature, place or quest for it.
- Hover one of those rows: its tooltip says whether you have it and lists each place it comes from.
- Right-click it for Open in ALL THE THINGS.
- In the filter menu, a switch per kind (quests, mounts, items and the rest) turns its info off on those rows, never the rows themselves.
- @att searches only what ALL THE THINGS knows; alone, it lists what is left to get on the map you are on.
Works on retail, WoW Forever, Mists Classic, TBC Anniversary and Classic Era.
Nothing of ALL THE THINGS' is copied into this addon: it reads its quests, your collection and where each thing comes from at runtime, and never changes ALL THE THINGS' settings or saved data.
How to use it
- Type a quest or a thing's name in EasyFind's search bar.
- Hover the row: its tooltip says whether you have it and lists all its sources; click a quest for directions, Alt-click to open it in ALL THE THINGS.
- Right-click a row for Open in ALL THE THINGS.
- Type @att alone, or click the ALL THE THINGS button in EasyFind's extensions menu, for what is left in your zone.
Pairs well with
- EasyFind: GPS Navigation Extension: step-by-step directions to a quest, through flights, boats and portals, with an arrow at your character and the route on the map. Without it, a click sets the game's map waypoint there.
