Disenchant - What's in Your Loot?

Hover over an item to see what it could disenchant into. A simple tooltip addon for WoW Forever.

What it shows

Under Whats in your Loot?, eligible equipment tooltips show:

• Material icons and names, including dust, essences, shards and crystals.
• Possible quantities and estimated chances for each result.
• Optional Auctionator prices for one unit of each material, labelled each.
• An Estimated disenchant value calculated from the possible outcomes.

Works with standard item tooltips in your bags, character equipment, bank, guild bank, loot windows and item links. Uncommon, rare and epic equipment is estimated using its quality, equipment type and level bracket.

Easy to use

Install the addon, enable it and hover over your gear. There is no setup or options menu. The addon previews results only; it does not disenchant items or perform inventory actions.

Optional prices with Auctionator

Enable Auctionator and scan the auction house on your realm to supply material prices. Icons and material previews work without Auctionator.

Prices come from your saved Auctionator scan, so they are not a live feed. Scan again and hover the item again to refresh the values. If a possible material has no price, Missing scanned prices appears once on the total line; individual material rows stay uncluttered.

The total uses each material's unit price, average quantity and outcome chance. It is an estimated average across many disenchants, not guaranteed gold from a single item, profit or sale proceeds. Auction-house cuts are not deducted.

About the estimates

Material quantities and percentages use level-bracket tables rather than verified item-by-item Forever loot data. Special items and future game changes may produce different results. A preview does not guarantee that a particular item can be disenchanted.
