A rotation helper that looks like part of your UI. CueTip shows the Single-Button Assistant's next recommended cast as its own icon, restyles Blizzard's Cooldown Manager to match it, and lets you shape both however you want.

✅ Built for Blizzard's own systems. Built and tested on 12.0.7, and tracked for 12.1: when Blizzard changes the Cooldown Manager or the assisted combat API, this gets updated.

Blizzard already ships a rotation helper. The Single-Button Assistant knows what you should cast next, but it's slow and it's easy to lose in the noise of your bars.

CueTip puts that recommendation on screen as a real icon, at the size, shape and color you want, with the key that casts it. Then it styles your cooldown rows to match, right down to the shape of the icon itself.

It's not the math, it's the glance

The glance: one icon, where your eyes already are, so when you come out of a mechanic you can find your place in the rotation without hunting for it.

Assisted Highlight lights up a button somewhere on your bars, which means looking down at your bars to find out which one. CueTip puts it where you're already looking instead, and lets it look like it belongs there.

One addon, lightweight and simple, painting your cooldown rows and your next-cast icon with the same border, the same crop, the same shape, from one config. They match because they came from the same place.

✨ What you get

• 🔮 Your next cast recommendation, as a styled icon. Blizzard's own recommendation, with a configurable refresh rate, the key that casts it and its cooldown sweep. Drag it anywhere, size it, hide it out of combat.
• ⭕ Shape every icon. Square, circle, hexagon, diamond and more, mask by mask, so cooldowns and your next-cast icon can look like nothing else on CurseForge. 
• 🎨 Your Cooldown Manager, restyled. Essential cooldowns, utility cooldowns and tracked buffs. Add a pixel border in any color, size the countdown text, dim what you can't cast, set the icon size. Each row shares the look or keeps its own, and any row can be left alone.
• ⌨️ Keybinds on your cooldown icons. Read straight off the action button's own hotkey text, so paging, stances, vehicles and the extra action button are already correct. Pick the size, the color, and where it sits.
• 🖌️ Color it your way. The keybind text, the countdown text and the cooldown sweep each get their own color, set separately from the border.
• 🖱️ Easy, in-line editing. Right-click any icon inside Blizzard's own Cooldown Settings window to restyle just that one, or hit Style on a section header to do the whole row. The panel pins to Blizzard's window and follows it around. No new UI or tool to learn.
• 🔧 Per-icon means per-icon. Its own size, its own shape, its own keybind, or keybind text you type yourself when the detected one isn't what you want.
• 📋 An options panel that isn't a mile of sliders. Two columns of collapsible sections, one per surface.

Settings

/cuetip (or /cue) opens the options, and there's an entry in the Cooldown Settings gear menu.

/cuetip debug prints what every surface is actually doing, if something looks wrong.

Compatibility

• Retail only. Needs the Cooldown Manager and the Single-Button Assistant, so 11.1 or later. Built and tested against 12.0.7 (Midnight), with 12.1 support planned.
• Keybind auto-detection uses Blizzard's action bars. On ElvUI, Bartender4 or Dominos, type the keybind in yourself instead. Everything else works the same on any bars.
• Masque supported. Skin the cooldown icons and the next-cast icon with the rest of your UI, or leave Masque off and use CueTip's own borders.
• Edit Mode still owns where your rows sit. CueTip only paints them.
