Stowaway

Inventory management that works with the bags you already have. Stowaway acts silently or adds configurable colors to item lists on top of your existing bags.

It manages your bags. It doesn't rebuild them.

Stowaway seamlessly sits on top of your existing bags. Color the slots, set your rules, and everything else about your bags stays exactly where you left it.

Like my other addons, this is meant to work cleanly with the default Blizzard UI or other UI shenanigans you already have running. Not trying to do everything, just doing a few things really well.

✨ What you get

• 🎨 Custom rules and lists for any item type. Build as many as you need, then drag them into order. The top one wins when an item fits more than one.
• 🔒 Never sell. Lock an item so nothing sells it, by accident or on purpose. Cover a whole gear set with one switch.
• 🏦 Auto stow. Your list moves itself to the warband bank or your own the moment you open one. Paced, stack-aware, and it tells you what went where.
• 💰 Auto vendor. Grays and your own list, sold the moment a vendor opens, and again if more shows up while you're standing there.
• 🏷️ Sell on AH. Marked only while you're at an auction house, with everything you didn't mean to post dimmed out of the way.
• ⚔️ Gear groups. Match by stats, a gear set, an item level, or whether it still has an upgrade track.
• 🖱️ Manage lists from your bags. Alt-click a slot to add or remove it, and the tooltip already tells you what list an item is on.
• 📋 The same borders on your character sheet or bank, so equipped gear reads the same way your bags do (if you want it to)
• 🧹 Tidy up Blizzard's own slots. Optionally cover the quality color, square off the rounded corners, stop the new-item glow.
• 📚 Unspent profession knowledge, on the professions book itself. Lights up when you have a whole rank's worth sitting unused.
• 📌 Keep it in place. Does your muscle memory require certain items remain in certain spots? Put those on this list and they go straight back to the exact square they were in even after you do a "clean up bags" shuffle.

Settings

Three clean config pages in the normal settings window. Set what a border looks like, what happens at a vendor/bank/auction house, and manage limitless item lists.

Compatibility

• Retail, patch 12.1.
• Works with most bag addons. If one draws your bags in a way Stowaway can't read, the borders stop and everything else keeps working.
• Let me know if you have a bag/UI add-on that needs some accommodations made for it!
• No libraries, no embedded code.
