Stowaway

Inventory management that works with the bags you already have.

✅ Not another bag addon. I'm not here to change your bag UI. Stowaway works with Blizzard's default bags and with most popular bag and UI addons.

It manages your bags. It doesn't rebuild them.

Stowaway sits on top of your existing bags. Color the slots, set your rules, and everything else about your bags stays exactly where you left it.

Like my other addons, it's built to work cleanly with the default Blizzard UI or whatever other UI shenanigans you already have running. It's not trying to do everything, just a few things really well.

✨ What you get

• 🌀 Spend Voidcores only where you mean to. List the raid bosses and Mythic+ dungeons worth a bonus roll on each character, and the dice are locked on everything else. Set spec reminders as well.
• 🎨 Custom rules and lists for any item type. Build as many as you need, then drag them into order. The top one wins when an item fits more than one. Each one can draw a colored border, a highlight (blinking, marching ants and more), or simply dim the slot.
• 🔒 Never sell. Lock an item so nothing sells it, by accident or on purpose. Cover a whole gear set with one switch. If something locked gets sold anyway, Stowaway buys it back before you close the vendor.
• 🏦 Auto stow. Your list moves itself to the warband bank or your own bank the moment you open one. It's paced, stack-aware, and tells you what went where.
• 🙅 Don't auto deposit. Items on this list come straight back to your bags, to the slot they came from, if the bank's Deposit All button grabs them.
• 💰 Auto vendor. Grays and your own list, sold the moment a vendor opens and again if more shows up while you're standing there.
• 🏷️ Sell on AH. Items are marked only while you're at an auction house, with everything you didn't mean to post dimmed out of the way.
• ⚔️ Gear groups. Match gear by stats, gear set, item level (at least, over, under or exactly) or upgrade track. Want to spot this season's gear? Make a group with an upgrade track and a minimum item level, and move the number when the season does.
• 🖱️ Manage lists from your bags. Alt-click (or Ctrl, or Shift, your pick) a slot to add it to a list or take it off, and choose which lists the menu shows. The tooltip already tells you which lists an item is on.
• 🔢 Know what you've got. A bag item's tooltip shows how many more are in your bank, and hovering a price at a vendor shows how many of that item or currency you already have.
• 📋 Borders wherever your items are. In your bags, in the bank, and on loot roll frames. Equipped gear on your character sheet can match your bags or get a look of its own.
• 🧹 Tidy up Blizzard's own slots. Optionally cover the quality color, square off the rounded corners, and stop the new-item glow.
• 📚 Unspent profession knowledge, on the professions book itself. It lights up when you have a whole rank's worth sitting unused.
• 📌 Keep it in place. Does your muscle memory need certain items in certain spots? Put them on this list and they go straight back to the exact square they were in, even after a "clean up bags" shuffle.

Settings

Three clean pages in the normal settings window: what a border looks like, what happens at a vendor, bank or auction house, and as many item lists as you want. Every section folds away, so you only see the one you came for.

Compatibility

• Retail, patch 12.1.
• Works with most bag addons. If one draws your bags in a way Stowaway can't read, the borders stop and everything else keeps working.
