Calg's Raid Planner

Prep the whole raid, boss by boss — and let everyone see exactly what they still need to do.

One person drives the plan; everyone running the addon gets a tiny personal card telling them precisely what to fix before the pull. No more "everyone flask up?" in raid chat.

What it does

• A live readiness board. One glance shows who's flask'd, fed, world-buffed, oiled, and carrying the right potions — grouped by Tanks, Healers, and DPS.
• Gear and enchants, for the whole raid. Every raider's equipped gear on one screen, with a tick or a cross beside each slot that can take a permanent enchant — bare bracers, an unenchanted chest, a scopeless bow. It knows which enchant each spec should be wearing, so a healer in agility bracers is flagged as clearly as an empty slot. Anyone running the addon reports their own gear; everyone else is inspected quietly in the background, once.
• Raid cooldowns, on a HUD you build yourself. Track any of sixty-odd cooldowns — AoE taunts, Lay on Hands, Mana Tide, battle resses, protection potions, healthstones and runes — on as many small movable monitors as you like. Each one is a list, a count, a grid of icons or a row of bars, sized and placed how you want it, and each holds whichever cooldowns you put on it.
• It works for raiders who don't have the addon. Their casts are read out of the combat log, and anything nobody has used in longer than its own cooldown is marked available. Every number says how confident it is, so a reported cooldown never looks like a guess and a guess never looks like a promise.
• Combined cooldowns. "Challenging Shout + LIP" is a single row with a single number — the longer of the taunt and the potion — because the question a leader is actually asking is whether someone can peel and survive it. The bare ability is still there to track on its own.
• Every boss, mapped. Each Classic raid encounter has its own requirement list — resistances, protection potions, the Onyxia Scale Cloak — that you mark required or optional. Your choices drive what everyone sees.
• Plan your roster ahead of time. Lay out the eight groups by hand, bench players who aren't online yet, lock what you're sure of — and the live raid keeps rearranging itself to match your plan.
• Assignments in one click. Tank markers, blessings, curses, Soulstones, Power Infusion and more, filled in from a sensible default set you can tweak and pin.
• A personal checklist for every raider. A small card showing only what's still undone — buffs, consumes, their job for the fight, and the current boss's needs — that follows the fight automatically.
• Build-aware. "Ready" is judged by your spec and role, detected from your talents, so a Fury warrior and a Prot tank aren't held to the same list.
• Everyone stays in sync. Roster, assignments, and boss requirements broadcast across the raid and self-heal if an update is missed.

Getting started

Type /rp or click the minimap button to open the planner — right-click the button for your personal card — pull in your raid, and hit the suggest buttons for a baseline. Then just play: your card (and everyone else's) follows whichever boss you're fighting. /rp help lists everything.

The Gear tab needs nothing set up: it starts reading the raid the moment you form one, and hovering any cell tells you what the item is and what's enchanted on it.

The CDs tab is where you build cooldown monitors: tick what you want watched, pick a display, and drag the panel where you like it. Three monitors are set up for you on first run.

Font

The panels are drawn in Scada by Jovanny Lemonad, bundled with the addon and used for every label in it, so the layout looks the same on your machine as it does on mine. Nothing outside the addon is touched. Licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 — the full text ships in Media/Fonts/OFL.txt.
