Description
Calg's AV Honor Planner
Grinding Alterac Valley for a rank? Let the addon do the math.
Tell it the rank you're chasing and it works out exactly how much honor to earn this reset, how many more games that is, and roughly how long they'll take — queue time included. Then it watches your back so you never get AFK-kicked into a Deserter debuff.
What it does
- Aims at your rank for you. Set your goal rank and a weekly honor cap you're comfortable with; it figures out the cheapest honor target that still buys the biggest rank-up in reach. Prefer to drive it yourself? Set a manual number in one click.
- Shows the whole climb. Not just this reset — the full week-by-week path to your goal rank, each reset with the rank it lands you on and the honor it costs, and a warning if your honor cap stalls it short.
- Watch it fill. A clean progress bar with milestone marks for the smaller breakpoints — and honor that ticks up live while you fight, not just when the match ends.
- Know your pace. Your average honor, battle time, and queue wait per game, plus a running estimate of how many games are left, how long they'll take, and whether that lands you inside AV's own bonus weekend or you're only on track for the reset.
- See every game. A scrolling log of the reset's runs — result, honor, time, queue wait and honor per hour — beside a colour-coded chart of the same games, switchable between honor, time, queue wait and win/loss.
- Marks at a glance. All three battlegrounds' marks of honor counted along the footer, turning amber as a stack nears the 20 your bags will hold and red once new ones start going to your mailbox.
- Bonus weekends, counted down. The full three-weekend Call to Arms rotation — hours until the next window when it's inside a day, days beyond that, and how long the live one has left.
- Never eat a Deserter. The moment you're inside AV a countdown appears, and if you go idle an alarm escalates until you tap a key — so a bio break never costs you a 15-minute ban. Mute the sound anytime; the bar stays.
- Two windows, not two modes. The full panel with every stat, and a slim one-line mini bar to leave up while you queue — open either, or both at once. Each remembers its own place on screen, and whatever you had open comes back next login.
Lightweight, movable, and drawn from scratch to feel at home in Classic.
Getting started
Open it with /avhp or the minimap button — left-click for the panel, right-click for the mini bar — set your goal rank, and go play. Everything updates on its own. /avhp help lists the rest.
The run log and the per-game chart use NovaInstanceTracker if you have it (read-only — nothing is changed). Without it you still get your target, the climb to your goal rank, live honor, remaining games, your marks, the bonus-weekend rotation and the AFK guard.
Built for WoW Classic Era. Your settings and history are saved between sessions. Found a bug or have an idea? Leave a comment — feedback is always welcome.
