BiS> Healing

Click-cast healing cells for any healer, on a client that will not let an addon read what it is drawing.

Built for World of Warcraft: Forever

On Forever an addon may not read a unit's health, and in combat it may not read auras or cooldowns either. So this addon measures nothing. It hands the client the numbers it is not allowed to see and lets the client draw them: the health bar, the incoming-heal bar, the dispel marker (the client knows what you can cure), and the click that casts (Blizzard's own secure code).

The mouse

/bish mouse, or the minimap button. A drawn mouse — left, right, middle, two thumb buttons, wheel up and down, times no modifier, shift, ctrl, alt: twenty-eight places to put a spell. Ranks are kept: rank 4 of a heal binds rank 4, and the little rank number in a slot's corner walks the ranks you have trained. Right-click a slot to clear it. Binds are written out of combat.

The cells

One per person, group order. A name, a bar the client fills, a second bar for heals already on the way, a green pip when there is something on them you can cure, tank / healer / damage icons when roles are set, and a dimmed cell when they are out of range of whatever is on your left button.

The macro — read this once

The Forever beta client sometimes loses every addon's saved variables at logout. Macros live on the server and survive, so your binds are kept in one per-character macro named BiSHealing. It is inert — clicking it casts nothing — no other macro is ever touched, and you should not rename it. If your macro list is full the addon says so.

What it does not do

Rank anyone. Ranking needs to know who is losing health, and that is the one thing this client will not say.

/bish — the window. /bish mouse — the binder. The minimap button has the same things.
