BetterJourney is a leveling field guide for World of Warcraft: Forever. It brings zone advice, feeder quests, quest chains, pickup locations, and useful notes into one readable in-game library.

Heading into a new zone? Check which quests to collect before you travel. Running out of things to do? Browse suggested next zones. Stuck on a missing quest? Explore its earlier steps and see what your character has already finished.

Plan your next chapter

• Zone recommendations consider your level, faction, current location, and recorded quest progress.
• Level atlas and zone maps show suggested level bands and questing hubs using native map art.
• Before you go brings together incoming quests, pickup locations, and preparation notes.
• Hub circuits and pickup clusters help you plan a visit and find nearby work.
• Zephras Isle has its own chapter, map, hub circuit, class notes, and onward introductions.

Make sense of quest chains

Open a quest's Details to see earlier steps, the quest you're viewing, and follow-ups. Cards show whether each step is turned in, in your log, or ready to hand in. The panel can highlight an unfinished earlier step with its objective summary and pickup location.

Recorded complete all and complete one requirements are shown separately. Advisory story links are labeled so you can distinguish a useful lead from a recorded prerequisite. Click a step to investigate it, then use Back to return.

Already viewing a quest in the native quest log? Click BetterJourney: Chain beneath the log's existing controls to open it directly. The button is available for quests in BetterJourney's library.

Useful details, ready in game

• 3,712 quest records and 3,298 preloaded briefs, including 149 records for Zephras Isle and its onward introductions.
• Short objective summaries, recorded pickups and hand-ins, and original field notes.
• Live objective progress and turn-in status for accepted quests when supplied by the client.
• Suggestions for quests with shared objectives or nearby pickups.
• Personal notes saved per quest and per character.
• Quest text remembered as you view it at a giver or in your quest log.
• A copyable Wowhead Forever link for further research.

The bundled briefs work immediately. No other addon is required; BetterJourney can sit alongside your preferred quest tracker.

Getting started

1. Install BetterJourney and enable it in your AddOns list.
2. Type /journey or /betterjourney to open the guide.
3. Select a zone, browse Quest library, and open a quest's Details.

Use /journey next for your top zone recommendation or /journey reset to center the window. You can also assign an Open journey field guide key binding.

Coverage and feedback

This is an early release for WoW Forever. Coverage combines Forever research with Classic baseline facts and separately attributed Forever supplements. Some quest details, eligibility rules, and new zones remain incomplete. Suggested levels, pairings, and routes are guidance; they do not guarantee quest availability or the fastest leveling route.

Missing text and advisory relationships are labeled in the guide. When reporting a correction, please include the quest name or ID, your faction and class, and the relevant location or prerequisite.

Quest research uses Wowhead Forever, with factual pickup, objective, and relationship references supplemented by the QuestieDB contributors. BetterJourney's route prose and field notes are original. Questie is not a runtime dependency.
