Description
An extremely lightweight add-on to alert you of your auction updates
A sound alert plays when:
- You won an auction
- Your auction sold
- Your auction expired
- You're outbid on an auction
Features:
- Different sounds for successful, failed and expired auctions
- Support to custom sounds
- Sound and message notifications for other characters' expired auctions
- Localized to all built in languages
Adding custom sounds:
- Go to the folder Program Files (x86)/World of Warcraft/VERSION/Interface/AddOns/AuctionHouseNotifications/Custom Sounds/
- Add a .mp3 or .ogg file to the folder
- Open _List.lua with a text editor and, for each custom sound, add the entire file name under ahn.customSounds between quotes and followed by a comma ( e.g. "My file.mp3", )
Chat commands:
- /ahn: Toggles sound alerts on or off
- /ahn options or /ahn o: Opens the options interface
Known issues:
- (Mists of Pandaria) Due to unexpected game behavior in version 5.5.4, this add-on may not work to its fullest potential. Open the auction house's Auctions tab in order to track active auctions for the cross-character notification feature
