AetherForge Gatherer

All your gathering professions in one small window: Mining, Herbalism, Fishing and Skinning.
For Classic Era and WoW: Forever.

Type /afg or click the icon by your minimap to open it. Each profession has its own tab along the bottom of the window, and its own pages down the side.

One Important thing to know: The more friend's or guildies that use this addon the better faster it populates Nodes and fishing spots for everyone.

⛏️ Mining and 🌿 Herbalism

• Every vein and herb you gather is marked on your minimap and world map, so you can find the spot again.
• Silver-grey dots for ore veins, green dots for herbs.
• Hover a dot to see what it is, how often you've gathered it, and when.
• Track button: one click turns on Find Minerals or Find Herbs.
• Warns you if you forgot your mining pick.
• The Nodes tab lists every vein or herb, in your zone or everywhere.

🎣 Fishing

Everything from AetherForge Angler, built in:
• Double-right-click the water to cast, or choose one key that casts and reels in.
• Louder splash and auto loot while you fish. Everything goes back to normal when you take your pole off.
• Lure button that picks the best lure your skill allows, with a timer and a warning when it wears off.
• One-click gear swap between your fishing gear and your normal gear. Your weapons go back on if you're attacked.
• Fishing pools (blue dots) and floating wreckage (brown dots) marked on your maps.
• Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganza countdown and Nat Pagle's fish checklist.

🐺 Skinning

• Every skin counted, with what it gave you and what it was worth.
• Shows the highest mob level your skill can skin.
• Warns you if you have no skinning knife.
• No map dots for skins, since a mob is skinned wherever it died. The Zones tab shows where skinning pays best instead.

📊 For every profession

• Gold per hour and finds per hour. The clock only runs while you're working.
• Uses Auctionator or TSM prices if you have them, otherwise vendor prices.
• Log: everything you got, where, and what it was worth.
• Zones: what you got in each zone, so you can find the best place to farm.
• Skill bar, skill-ups this session, and alerts for rare finds.

📋 The Gatherer bar

• A small bar that shows up while you fish or gather: your skill, this session's finds and gold per hour.
• It switches by itself: a Lure button while you fish, a Track button while you mine or pick herbs.
• Move it anywhere, or hide it in Options.

🤝 Share with friends

• Send to a player: type a name and click Send. They get a popup asking to accept, and the dots appear on their maps.
• Share automatically with your guild and group. This is off until you turn it on, separately for each profession.
• Copy and paste your spots as text for Discord or a forum, and import what other players post.

🎣 Coming from AetherForge Angler?

• The Gatherer does everything Angler does, so turn Angler off in your AddOns list.
• Your Angler fishing spots are brought over by themselves the first time.

⌨️ Commands

• /afg  -  open or close the window
• /afg mining, /afg fishing, /afg herbalism, /afg skinning  -  open on that profession
• /afg gear  -  swap between fishing gear and normal gear
• /afg hud  -  show or hide the Gatherer bar
• /afg dots  -  show or hide the dots on your maps
• /afg reset  -  start new sessions
• Right-click the minimap icon to swap fishing gear.

Nothing is ever left changed: your key bindings are never touched, and every game setting is put back after fishing.
