Become a Self-Employed Singer-Songwriter with this new life aspiration! Start out by registering yourself as self-employed, then earn money from tips as a street musician and level up to release your own licensed music and lyrics! This mod introduces new aspiration Goals, Wants, and a gameplay-focused Reward Trait for completing the aspiration.

4. Singer-Songwriter

• Write 5 Songs or Lyrics - 0/5
• Reach Level 8 Singing Skill - 0/8
• Max Guitar Skill to Level 10 - 0/10
• Earn §5,000 from Licensed Songs - 0/5,000

Completing the aspiration will give you a custom notification and these two rewards:

Completing this aspiration rewards your Sim with the new “Lyric Virtuoso” trait, letting them write songs and lyrics much faster and earn from licensed music sooner.

This mod is not required for this aspiration to work, but I do recommend it since the game otherwise has a built-in restriction for licensing only 1 song a week / instrument. With this mod, the aspiration will be a little more easy to complete!

• Unzip and add the package file below to your Mods folder or any subfolder within it—just make sure it's not nested more than 5 folders deep.
