✨ About This Mod
This mod adds the ability to earn money by giving Makeovers to other Sims and running a Beauty Salon in the Businesses & Hobbies pack. It uses the styling chair from Get Famous, adapted and expanded so you can style any visiting townie and get paid for your work. Your earnings scale with your business star rank, making Makeovers an functional and fun small‑business activity. 🌈💅🩷💄
✨ How this mod works:
- Add the "Get Makeover" acitivity to your Small Business activities
- Add the Hair & Makeup Chair (from Get Famous EP) to your small business
- Open your business and earn extra money on these services:
- Offer Appearance Styling - Change Sim in CAS (earnings between 80-400 simoleons)
- Offer Hair Style - Random Hair Style (earnings between 60-300 simoleons)
- Offer Make Up - Random Make Up (earnings between 40-200 simoleons)
💸 Revenue from Services
With this mod, you'll be able to earn extra money in your business. Whether you charge hourly or fixed fees, this income is added on top of your regular earnings. You'll also be able to track the income from these styling activities in your Finances Report after each open-business session, as you would with any other services.
Note: You can only make money from these services when your small business is OPEN. Your earnings will also increase when your star business rank increases.
💅 Ask for Styling Services
The mod also allows visiting players to ask for Hair Style and Makeup services when checked in at a small business equipped with a styling chair. The visiting player can choose to get styling from the business owner, or any employee.
Note about randomized styling: To finalize your preferred makeup or hair style, simply exit the styling interaction once you're satisfied with the look. Note that makeup will only be temporary for 24 hours (and only on Everyday, Formal & Party clothing). This is exactly how the Styling Chair interactions works in a non-modded game.
