Handsome Iron Golem turns the Iron Golem into a polished chrome bodybuilder: shirtless, broad-chested, with a clean crew cut, colorful shorts and real jewelry. And it is not just a skin: its face, gems and jewelry react to what is happening in the game.

🪙 Chrome steel skin — shirtless torso with a raised chest and a new collarbone.

💈 Crew cut — short on top, shaved sides and back, in 6 hair colors: black, brown, blonde, red, platinum and grey.

🩳 Long shorts in 8 colors, each with a two-tone stripe running from the waist down to the hem.

📿 Gold or silver necklace that wraps all the way around the neck, with a gem pendant.

💍 Bracelet and ring — a double bracelet on the right hand and a tiny ring on the left fist.

💎 Glowing gems — the ruby, sapphire and emerald are emissive all the time, even in the dark.

😠 Angry face when attacking — calm and handsome while idle; V-shaped brows, a frown and glowing green eyes when it targets something.

🩹 Damage system — as health drops, it loses its jewelry:
- below 75% → loses the bracelet
- below 50% → loses the ring
- below 25% → loses the necklace
The crack overlays also gain soot, grease and scratch stains at every stage.

🎲 192 random looks — every golem rolls a hair color, shorts color and jewelry set (gold/silver mix) when it spawns.

📋 Requirements
⚠️ This pack uses a custom model and random textures, so it needs EMF and ETF. Without them the golem will look vanilla.
📥 Installation
- Install EMF and ETF for your loader.
- Download the pack and put the
.zip in your resourcepacks folder (do not unzip it).
- Enable Handsome Iron Golem in Options → Resource Packs and move it to the top.
- Spawn an Iron Golem (or build one) and enjoy.
❓ FAQ
Can I lock one specific look? Yes. Open assets/minecraft/optifine/random/entity/iron_golem/iron_golem.properties inside the zip and change textures.1=1-192. Variant N = 1 + hair*32 + shorts*4 + jewelry. Example: textures.1=1-32 gives only black hair.
The jewelry does not disappear when the golem is hurt. The damage system uses EMF's health and max_health variables. If it does not trigger in your setup, delete the animations lines of right_arm, left_arm and body in optifine/cem/iron_golem.jem (the jewelry will then always stay on), and please tell me in the comments.
The angry face never shows. It relies on EMF's is_aggressive variable. If it does not trigger, delete the animations line of head in the same file (the angry overlay will then always be visible).
Does it change other mobs? No. Only the Iron Golem.
Does it work with Fresh Animations or other packs? Place Handsome Iron Golem above other packs so its Iron Golem model wins. Other packs that replace the Iron Golem will conflict.
Is it tested? Build and previews were made with a custom 3D viewer. In-game feedback is very welcome — if something looks off, send your latest.log in the comments.
