Important World Compatibility Notice
Because Beta 0.4.0 removes many mods and substantially changes structures, biomes, entities, items, recipes, progression, and world generation, creating a new world is strongly recommended.
Before opening an existing Beta 0.3.1 world:
-
Make a complete backup.
-
Remove equipment and items belonging to deleted mods where possible.
-
Expect missing blocks, entities, items, or structures from removed projects.
-
Newly added structures and biomes will normally appear only in unexplored chunks.
-
Legacy steel, silver, and flint items may be automatically converted.
-
Old Dungeons and Combat class selections will be removed.
-
Review the Controls menu because the default keybinding layout has changed considerably.
-
Recheck video, shader, resource-pack, and interface settings.
Final Notes
Beta 0.4.0 is designed to provide a cleaner and more cohesive combat-adventure experience. The update places a stronger focus on skill-based combat, rewarding exploration, atmospheric presentation, integrated progression, improved mod compatibility, better performance, and a much more polished VankoCraft identity.
Thank you for playing VankoCraft!
