Smoochh's Serenity

Version 0.9.1 is a broad quality-of-life, balance, building, exploration, and server-polish update. This release expands several existing systems while improving consistency between single-player and the official server.

New and Improved

• Added Freecam.
• Added support for diagonal windows, fences, and walls.
• Expanded armor-trim variety and improved trim presentation.
• Added clearer enchantment icons and level-cap information.
• Added JourneyMap Shared Maps and improved map-distance behavior.
• Added Silk Touch support for collecting normal mob spawners.
• Improved enchanting and disenchanting options.
• Improved bird movement and behavior around render-distance boundaries.
• Added additional quality-of-life improvements from Serilum, Fuzs, and other compatible mod developers.
• Improved Minecraft music variety and situational music playback.

Balance and Configuration

• Rebalanced mob-head drops, bee populations, and skeleton/zombie horse spawning.
• Downgraded Villager Comforts to a more stable version.
• Removed the old Quality Equipment/reforging system.
• Removed duplicate enchantment descriptions.
• Improved client and server configuration consistency.
• Cleaned up outdated recipes, compatibility entries, and unused scripts.

Server Improvements

• Added server-side JEI support.
• Updated the server mod list, KubeJS scripts, and gameplay configurations to match the client.
• Improved general startup, shutdown, and world-saving reliability.

Updating

This update is compatible with existing worlds and does not require a world reset, however the removed dis-enchanting table, and reforged items may become unusable/missing. As always, back up important worlds before updating—especially if you have manually changed the modpack or its configuration files.
