Sharkberry Adventures is an exploration/adventure-driven survival pack where the world breathes and shifts with you.
Seasons roll across the land with Serene Seasons, changing crop schedules, day length, and the feel of every biome. Winter snow builds up on forests and fields, making cold landscapes actually look buried and heavy. Temperature and atmosphere matter: Cold Sweat tracks how hot or cold you are, and Thin Air makes high peaks, deep caves, and certain dimensions genuinely hard to breathe in.
The overworld itself is dense with things to discover. Biomes O’ Plenty, Terralith, Project Vibrant Journeys, This Rocks!, and Dynamic Trees reshape terrain into towering forests, layered cliffs, and lush valleys with a variety of ground decoration and vast caves below. Wildlife from Alex’s Mobs, Untamed Wilds, Aquaculture 2, Friends & Foes, and others wander through these spaces, filling them with ambient life and new threats. With Ambient Environment, Ambient Sounds, Presence Footsteps, andSubtle Effects, just walking through a forest at dusk can feel like being inside a story.
Exploration doesn’t stop at the horizon either. YUNG’s structure mods, Dungeons Enhanced, Structory, Integrated Dungeons and Structures, and similar mods add sprawling dungeons, expanded temples, reworked mineshafts, deeper strongholds, and all sorts of ruins and lairs. Many structures are now their own mini-adventures. Access to the End runs through End Remastered. Instead of rushing eyes of ender, you’ll gather a set of unique Eyes from different challenges scattered around the world.
And when you’re ready to leave the overworld, the pack opens up even further. Float among the islands of the Aether, trek through the gloom of the Twilight Forest, delve into the fungal caverns of the Undergarden, or slip into the eerie Otherside via Deeper & Darker. The Nether also gains new life with Nether’s Depths Upgrade and other enhancements, packing lava seas with strange creatures and new fishing abilities.
Progression has also been given a makeover. Iron quality and above tools and weapons are removed, and Tetra takes over as your gear system. You’ll build modular tools and weapons, discover better materials as you travel the world and across dimensions, and unlock new upgrades by exploring, raiding dungeons, and finding hidden forges.
Combat gets a full makeover from Better Combat. Enhanced AI, Zombie Awareness, and other tweaks make mobs react more intelligently to light, noise, and scent. Apotheosis and Progressive Bosses layer in rare boss mobs, stronger enchantments, and scaling boss fights, so the game keeps pushing back as you grow stronger. Other mods like Bosses of Mass Destruction and Monster Expansion make an appearance too, offering extremely tough fights with their own unique rewards.
On the quieter side, Sharkberry Adventures gives you plenty of ways to settle down. MineColonies lets you found a living town that slowly grows under your guidance, with workers, guards, logistics, and defense giving you a light colony-sim to play with between expeditions. For builders, Macaw’s full suite of mods, as well as Another Furniture, Supplementaries, Framed Blocks, Rechiseled, Chisels & Bits, and more form a huge palette of blocks, furniture, and decorations, so you can build anything from a sleepy fishing village to a sprawling mountain citadel. Create and its addons bring gorgeous, hands-on automation. Create mills, factories, trains, and various moving contraptions.
Underneath all of this runs a web of quality-of-life and performance mods. Waystones for fast travel, Storage Drawers, Sophisticated Backpacks, Iron Chests, and Lootr for storage and fair loot when playing on a server with friends, Corpse for death recovery, FTB Quests for guidance (Coming Soon!), plus a stack of optimization mods to keep everything running smooth.
Disclaimer: Sharkberry Adventures is designed for modern systems. 8GB of RAM has been allocated by default and is the recommended minimum for this pack. Shaders are disabled by default however the modpack visuals have partially been designed with them in mind. Older machines will struggle to run this modpack smoothly. A Server Pack is available to make it easy for you to play with your friends.
This pack is not compatible with Optifine, however includes Xenon, Oculus, and other addons to provide a similar experience for shaders, dynamic lights, emissive textures, and more. While mostly finalized, this modpack is still in active development and features may be tweaked, added, or removed at any time (mostly the first two). Remember to backup your saves often.
I hope you enjoy everything this modpack has to offer. Feel free to mention any issues in the comments <3
