Description

Original Expanded is a light modpack jam-packed with content to overhaul the vanilla experience and reimagine what minecraft could be like. This modpack aims to keep the core of Minecraft while expanding on every aspect of the game.

In addition, Original Expanded aims to be beginner friendly, especially towards people who are skeptical about trying modded minecraft. With a handy questbook, you won't need to tab out to search information, everything you need is available in-game. There is content for beginner and veteran players, giving everybody something interesting to explore.

The modpack is built with a single- and multiplayer focus, giving a canvas for everyone to create their own forever-worlds! Long-term and longevity is key, take your time and enjoy the modpack!

Key features

There are a ton of features, all explained more in-depth with the in-game questbook!

• Terrain overhaul: the vanilla minecraft terrain has been completely overhauled using Biomes o Plenty & [Let's Do] Blooming Nature.
• Farming & deco: combining Handcrafted & the [Let's Do] mod series, you can experience entirely new farming & cooking mechanics alongside decorating your base to look exactly how you want! With the addition of the Architect's Palette mod, you have a large array of building blocks to choose from.
• Storage: no need to worry about overwhelming chest monsters, using Tom's Simple Storage, Sophisticated Storage (& Backpacks), and Functional Storage you can build the perfect storage system.
• Automation: feeling tired from manually farming? Automate your farms using Create!
• Magic: awaken your magical powers through Iron's Spells and Spellbooks.
• Gear & armor: new tool and armor mechanics with Silent gear.
• Structure overhaul: explore revamped cities with Towns and Towers and the many overhauled vanilla structures with Yung's mods.
• The nether: overhauled nether with new biomes, structures and mobs. Piglins now have a new look with the Piglin Proliferation mod.
• The end: a whole new dragon fight with True Ending - Ender Dragon Overhaul will give you a whole new battle with the enderdragon, however getting to the end is not so straightforward anymore with End Remastered, where you need to find different eyes of ender.
• Performance & QOL changes: over 50 different mods solely focusing on improving the vanilla minecraft game engine and adding lots of QOL features
• Server compatability: built in one player sleep and integrated proximity Voice Chat. All basic needs are set up for starting a server. Don't forget you can spice up your base with Joy of Painting or pester your friends with Immersive Melodies!

Controls

One pet-peeve of mine is that modpacks rarely have presets ready to go for players to play the game. This modpack has already a basic set of keybinds, which you can still change to your liking whenever you'd like!
- W, used to zoom
- X, enlarge your minimap
- C, Tom's wireless crafting grid (if you have made one)
- V, voice chat settings
- B, backpack
- N, open the sails of your ship
Horse keybinds:
- O, set your personal horse
- I, call your horse
