JEI is no longer pinned: it was held at 19.44.0.403 since 1.0.2 because Create Simulated (bundled inside Create Aeronautics) carried a mixin that JEI .406+ broke, crashing every client at world join. The Create Aeronautics 1.3.2 update removes that mixin entirely, so JEI now ships its current release alongside it.

Not updated on purpose: Deeper Darker stays on 1.3.5 (newer builds reintroduce the Elytra Slot soul-elytra crash) and Iris stays on its installed 1.8.14-beta.1 (newer than the CurseForge "release"-tagged build, which is over a year stale).
