Exploration and Fantasy 2.3 (Sea Journey's Return Update).zip
What's new
* Did you enjoy your time out at sea? How was the Hierophant? Did you try to yoink up as much kelp as you could? How about that new swimming? I'm sure you
had one hell of a journey, but as you may have noticed by now, things were happening a bit back at mainland while you were out there. There were shifts in
the snowy biomes, the Nether, and the Jungle. Nothing too big, although the OsVermis growing stronger is a little concerning. There isn't anything in there
that can contest them really, so while it's understandable, it could become a bigger problem nonetheless. Regardless, there are more shifts happening.
- Inolashite from Metallurgy is highkey my nepo baby. The config attack speed is -0.4, which is being buffed to 0.5. This makes some of the tools and weapons
reach around 1.5 attack speed and others above 2 attack speed.
- My nepo baby sadly has something very overpowered tied to it that I was kinda purposefully ignoring, but I sadly gotta put my foot down and accept it.
The Time Leap effect of Inolashite has been disabled. It basically let you go through walls like the Etherium armor and cheese boss dungeons. It's so fun to
use, but it can't stay in. :(((((
- Remixed Bit Burner entirely and changed the name to Firmware Burner in the main OST.
- Haderoth's nerf has made the armor weak. It will be buffed from 2 damage reduction on every armor piece to 3.
- The Tartarite Chestplate has received a small nerf, going from 5 damage reduction to 4. This is before accounting for Paragon Absorb.
* Side note, I am aware that if you receive other pieces of the Tartarite armor dropped off monsters but it's damaged, Item Stages will not initially count
them as a disabled item, allowing you to wear them and have them in your inventory as long as the items aren't fully repaired. In that case...uh...fucking
use them? I don't really care if you cheese the pack like that. The best application for them is easily uncrafting them and making the chestplate, but maybe
there's other applications as well. Get creative and see if there's other banned items you can find funny workarounds for.
- Changed the text at the end of the Boss List book from "You made it to the end of the book! Check back if anything else rears its head, I'll update the
book automatically!" to "You made it to the end of the book! Find them all and go stake your claims!", signifying that will not be any more bosses added.
This is also in reference to the fact that the soul you imbue the book with is someone who fought against the Ender Dragons during the invasions as they say
"stake your claims", a line used for the Ice and Fire dragons theme, aggressioncycle.
- Changed the Final Boss Kobold's text in the Boss List book from "Kill the Final Boss Kobold, located inside the purple forcefield/giant fence area of the
Final Castle." to "Kill the Final Boss Kobold, located in the Final Castle's gazebo."
- Added "Please don't kill it, it won't drop anything." to the Questing Ram's Boss List book text.
- Removed the text in the Hierophant's boss list description that said it's found in deep oceans to reflect the recent move.
- Added "Stage 5's are arguably the strongest boss, but can drop their eggs. Be prepared. Don't melee them." to both the Ice and Fire Dragon's boss list
descriptions.
- Changed the Minoshroom's boss list text from "Kill the Minoshroom, located on the bottom floor of the Labyrinths." to "Kill one of the Minoshrooms,
located on the bottom floor of the Labyrinths."
- Adjusted the Armored Giants and Miners Boss List book text to "Kill the Armored Giants and Miners", reflecting that there's multiple of them.
- Added "Be wary, they like visiting the Final Castle!" to their text as well.
- Added "Such weak minibosses." to the Adherents and Harbinger Cube's Boss List book text.
- Adjusted the Hirschgeist's text to include that it should be summoned at night as it'll be invincible and won't fight you during the day.
- Added "The easiest of all the bosses!" to the Ferrous Wroughtnaut's Boss List book text. It's the only boss in the game that can be fought best without
armor.
- Added "His spear may prove useful to keep some distance on the Frostmaw..." to Barako's Boss List book text.
- Added "I heard they stole a powerful blade from the Dreaded Queen." to the Frostmaw's Boss List book text.
- Added "The arrows they drop are good for hunting down Ice and Fire Sea Serpents." to the Aquatic Depths Sea Serpent's Boss List book text.
- Added "His death opens nearly the rest of Twilight Forest progression." to the Lich's Boss List book text.
- Added to both the Moon and Snow Queen's Boss List book text that they gifted something to each other.
- Added "The last of its kind. It deserves to die." to the Ender Dragon's Boss List book text.
- The Hirschgeist is a little underpowered now, both in terms of strength and drops considering the Disc Backport mod added a loot table for Otherside.
As a way to help this boss out, it will now drop up to 10 Bone Stew, which grants Resistance and Absorption 2 for 1 minute.
- Lampreys from Better Animals Plus are disabled now. They like to die randomly and clog up rivers with their drops.
- The Myrmex Jungle & Desert Swarms are disabled now. As much as I would like to find a way to buff these items, they're single use in a way that kills them
completely from any form of relevancy given the items needed to craft them. Which is weird cause like, the Gorgon head is single use but in a good way. And
so is the Stymphalian Bird Feather Bundle. How did that happen?
