Death Done Right for Minecraft 26.3 on Fabric Loader 0.20.1 (Java 25).
Dying should cost something, not everything. A grave made of your own player head keeps your items and experience where you fell; Lenient Death adds death coordinates, glowing drops that return to their old slots, an operator-side death history with /ld deaths restore, and a per-player keep-inventory switch (on by default for everyone, each player can turn it off with /ld perPlayer disable). Server-side: players join with a vanilla client.
How the two death mods work together
- Forgotten Graves Continued places a grave (your own player head) where you die. It holds your whole inventory and experience, and gives you a death compass (vanilla lodestone tracker, nothing to install) pointing at it. Right-click or break it to get everything back in its slots.
- Lenient Death Continued sends death coordinates in chat and the log, makes death drops glow and return to their old slots, keeps the last five death inventories so operators can /ld deaths restore after a bug, and runs its filtered keep-inventory in per-player mode.
- While graves are on, the grave takes the inventory before Lenient Death's keep rules run, so the per-player switch matters when a grave cannot be placed or when you turn graves off (main.graves=false in config/forgottengraves/forgottengraves.properties). Then players keep armour, tools and weapons and drop the rest, each player choosing with /ld perPlayer enable|disable.

- DeathCoords: its 26.3 file is not public on CurseForge at the moment (only the 1.18.2-1.21.11 ports are), so it cannot be referenced yet
Third-party mods are referenced by their CurseForge project and downloaded by the CurseForge App from their own pages; each permits redistribution under the licence in the table and allows third-party distribution on CurseForge. This pack contains no modified third-party files. Lenient Death Continued continues Lenient Death by JackFred (LGPL-3.0); Forgotten Graves Continued continues Forgotten Graves by ginsm (MIT), credited on their own pages.
