Caramel Cookie Dough is a modpack that gives you a fresh Minecraft experience with some of the mods you're used to seeing in other modpacks without the incongruity you feel when there's just too much going on in a pack. So not quite vanilla+ but it's still simple and keeps the Minecraft feel.

Tired of the same old structures, dimensions, systems and tech? I've included Yung's structures to make the basic strucutures you've experiences a bit more interesting. Aether, twilight forest and the deep add new dimensions to the game for you to explore. On top of that enlightened, and bygon nether keep minecraft's two basic dimensions interesting. Finally if you'd just like new systems to intereact with the create mod updates automation and tech, farmer's delight updates farming and food meanwhile aquaculture 2 updates fishing to be something the average player might wanna do.

While some mods are a nightmare to play in hardcore because of random deaths and unexpected interactions this modpack does its best not to have anything like that it's still harder than vanilla hardcore of course but it won't murder you randomly unless you're being silly.
