A simple vanilla+ origins modpack, featuring many origin addons and new / overhauled dimensions and features.

This vanilla+ modpack uses the base vanilla progression but with overhauls to visuals, world gen, ambience, etc. Overhauls to the Overworld, Nether and The End help make the experience more enjoyable for those Origins that spawn in the respective dimensions and makes the world more immersive. This modpack also features a wide array of building mods, letting you be even more creative in the upgraded world gen.

🏝 The Coastal Update (Version 1.1)

      • The beach biome now contains lush Coconut Trees! Watch your head because fully grown coconuts may fall down on you!
      • While some coconuts fall and break into food, sometimes a Coconut Crab will pop out from inside! Don't let their size fool you, as the coconut shell on these crustaceans can withstand multiple strong hits. These creatures will fight back if you try to attack them, but if you break their shell, they will scurry away in fear! They can drop crab claws, which can be cooked into food or used as shears.
      • Fully grown coconuts drop 2 coconut slices, which can be eaten to remove all effects from the player like milk. After eating a coconut slice, you are left with the coconut husk, which can be planted in the sand to grow a new coconut tree.
      • You will now find Seashells scattered along the shore. These shells can be used to craft the small (yet mighty) Sandcastle!
      • Sandcastles can be placed on top of turtle eggs to hide them from zombies and other mobs! And yes, the eggs will still continue to hatch when inside the sandcastle.
      • A new tropical-themed music disc can be found in buried treasure! 

🌵 The Desert Update (Version 1.2)

      • Deserts now have Camels! They can be tamed and ridden by up to 2 players at once, and they can be right clicked with a chest for some extra storage. They can be fed dead bushes and cacti, and they are bred using Prickly Pears. 
      • Prickly Pear plants now sprout on top of fully-grown cacti! Eating this fruit raw will slightly damage you, but you can avoid this by cooking them. 
      • Pots spawn inside of new desert ruins with loot inside! Pots can hold up to 9 individual items, but the only way to see or obtain them is to break the pot. Pots can be chiseled by shift + right-clicking them with a pickaxe, cycling through various designs. Attaching a comparator to a pot will emit a redstone signal equal to the amount of items inside, and pots also emit a 1-tick signal each time you put an item inside. 
      • New Desert Ruins structures will now spawn around the desert! 

❄️ The Snowy Update (Version 1.3)

      • Snowy and icy biomes now contain Penguins! Penguins spawn in huddles, and being near a huddle of at least 4 penguins grants you a regeneration effect. Penguins will hunt cod and pick up the item, which they will bring over to the nearest barrel and fill it up. You can breed them with cod and the penguin will keep the egg by its feet, which will eventually hatch. 
      • When baby penguins grow into an adult, they will shed their feathers as an item, which can be used to brew a Potion of Sliding! This effect will make you slide on all blocks as if they were ice. 
      • Watch your step in icy biomes because patches of Thin Ice are now scattered around! Jumping on thin ice will cause it to crack, and standing on cracked thin ice will break it and drop you into the water below.
      • Build chilly creations with new Snow Bricks and Ice Bricks!

🌳 The Plains Update (Version 1.4)

      • The Plains biome now has its own unique tree - Walnut Trees! Walnut leaves drop walnuts, which can be eaten.
      • Squirrels will now spawn in the Plains biome! Squirrels can be fed walnuts to make them trust the player. If a Squirrel is trusting, they will pick up sapling items and plant them nearby.
      • The plains biome is still the empty field you know and love, just with a few minor additions to enliven the area.

🌸 The Lush Caves Update (Version 1.5)

      • New Azalea logs and Flowering Azalea logs, which replace the oak wood on the vanilla azalea tree. They can be crafted into planks, which are used to craft the other wood decoration blocks. It matches perfectly with the moss and lush cave biome.
      • A beautiful Azalea flower, which can be obtained by using shears on flowering azalea leaves, bushes, or logs.
      • Moss Carpet is now stackable like snow layers
      • The surfaces of lush caves are now decorated with Surface Moss, a new item that can be placed on the sides of blocks up to 3 times, increasing the amount of moss on that surface with each layer.
      • All of this content has been moved here from my other mod Better Azalea, as it fits the theme of Ecologics and will be easier to update.

Ecologics wood types (coconut, walnut, azalea) can be used to craft unique blocks from these mods:

Terralith

Minecraft 1.18 brought a massive overhaul to world generation. Terralith 2.0 takes that overhaul and turns it up to eleven. This mod is the successor to the original Terralith, but it has been rewritten from the ground up to provide a completely new experience.

 

Terralith adds nearly 100 brand-new biomes, as well as updating almost every vanilla biome with new and improved features. It also includes tons of completely new terrain types - canyons, shattered biomes, floating islands, deep ocean trenches and much, much more.

 

Caves have been overhauled as well. Terralith's underground is a place with as much variation as the overworld above - there are multiple new cave biomes, new cave shapes, and even caves made completely of the alternative stone types.

 

Terralith's style is designed to have something for everyone. There are plenty of realistic biomes like Yellowstone, Shield and Highlands - but also fantastical places like Skylands, Moonlight Grove and even the elusive Mirage Isles. You'll never run out of new biomes and new experiences to discover.\

Info by Genesis - An Origins Addon

Golemborn:

The Golemborn are few and far, taking after their ancestors, the Iron Golems. They gained some of their strength and some of their size.

+Higher damage when not using a weapon

+Launch enemies into the air, similar to what your ancestors do (only without a weapon in hand)

+Defense equal to iron armor, due to your steel carapace

+Spawn in a village

 =You are 1.25x larger than normal humans

=You can only eat metal items (Iron, Gold/Golden Food, and Netherite), this includes nuggets and blocks. Eating any kind of netherite will give you buffs.

-Slow, due to your size

-Clumsy, meaning you cannot hold shields

-Bulky, armor does not fit on you

-Heavy, you must use a lot of energy to move around, requiring more food

 

Arcanite:

The Arcanites were born of the Eldritch Gods, inheriting some of their power. Dating back to ancient days, these strange creatures are not so common anymore.

+Use arcane spells on your enemies

 =You have mana, which is used to power your spells and regenerates faster when near bookshelves or an enchanting table. (200 is the max)

-You have less health because of your frail body

Current Spells:
-Fireball (Requires Level 5) 35 Mana

-Lightning Strike (Requires Level 10) 20 Mana

-Withercall (Requires Level 20) 40 Mana

-Plasma Immunity (Requires Level 50)

-Flight (Requires Level 100)

 

Ghastling:

Ghastlings are a rare occurrence, coming from a strange reaction, creating a human-sized Ghast.

+Fire balls of flame at your enemies.

+Float to the ground, instead of falling

=You are slightly translucent, due to your thin skin

-You have less health

-You need to eat more food

 

Infested:

The Infested supposedly descend from those scuttling silverfish. They hold many of the same aspects.

+Burrow through stone

+Silverfish come when you are hurt

+Silverfish are friendly towards you

+Night vision underground

=You are smaller than a normal person

=You get blindness if the light level is too high, but wearing a pumpkin or head will stop this

-You can not be out of stone for too long or you begin to deteriorate

-Due to your small size, you have less hearts

 

Dragonkin:

All but one of the Great Dragons left the End. Where they went is unknown. What we do know is you were born of them.

+Launch dragon fireballs (Primary) (you are supposed to be immune to dragons breath, but that immunity is not working. it is an issue with origins itself, not Genesis)

+Fly through the air because you have an elytra

+Have more defense because of your tough scales

-You will get slowness if you are on the ground, as you are far more accustomed to the skies

-Your dragon stomach can not digest anything but meat

This datapack adds origins based off of the Paradise Lost mod, also known as Aether Reborn!

So far this datapack only has one origin, the Swet, but is very detailed! An explanation will be given here:

The Swet

The swet, a slime like mob with 4 different colour variants. This datapack aims to add those four variants into a single complete package.

How to use: Use the extra keybinds ternary, quatenary, quinary, and senary to switch colours. While in these colours use your secondary to use their respective powers (stated below)
Recommended keybinds: Primary: G, Secondary: R, Ternary to Senary: Z X C V

Grey  [Extra keybinds: ternary]
In the grey form, use a swet ball to increase size and armor for 10s while regaining 1 hunger. Max stacks: 3, while any stacks are active, you cannot change colours. CD: 2s. Secondary: Be 2x bouncier than normal for 15s, each bounce starting a 3s cooldown. CD: 30s.
Blue  
[Extra keybinds: quatenary]

In the blue form, you will have 2 less hearts, be 1.25x faster than a human, and have conduit powers in water.
When health is less than or equal to 25%, gain speed 2 for 5s. Secondary: Gain a 3x swim speed bonus for 5s. CD: 30s.
Purple  
[Extra keybinds: quinary]
In the purple form, you are immune to poison and your attacks will be half as strong while your abilities are more offensive. Punching with your fist will afflict poison 1 for 3s with a CD of 5s. After death, spawn a purple swet with a random size. Secondary: Gain strength 2 for 5s while negating weakness. CD: 60s.

Golden  [Extra keybinds: senary]
In the golden form, you will be 0.75x slower and weaker than a human, 1.5x bigger than a human, and have 2 extra hearts. Secondary: Pull in entities with an increased range for a max 5s. During this duration, you will have slowness 5 and sneaking will unleash a powerful 'shockwave'. CD: 45s.
