Xenotech Compat

Xenotech Enchant Compat is a small, focused compatibility mod for Xenotech. Out of the box, Xenotech's Mining Drill, Precision Drill, and Buzzsaw can only ever be enchanted with Silk Touch — Efficiency and Fortune can be applied at the enchanting table or anvil, but they're silently ignored by the actual mining logic. This mod fixes that.

What it does

• Real Efficiency support. Mining Drills, Precision Drills, and Buzzsaws now mine faster when enchanted with Efficiency, scaling with level (each level adds 30% mining speed, so Efficiency V is roughly a 2.5x speed multiplier).
• Real Fortune support. Enchant with Fortune instead of Silk Touch to get bonus drops — runs through vanilla's own loot table bonus logic, so drop behavior matches a real Fortune pickaxe exactly.
• Sophisticated Storage compatibility. Previously, a vanilla chest mounted on a Xenotech vehicle would catch everything a drill mined, but a Sophisticated Storage chest or barrel in the same spot caught nothing. This mod adds a capability-based fallback so Sophisticated Storage containers work too, without touching the existing vanilla-container behavior.

Compatibility

• Requires Xenotech to be installed (this mod does nothing on its own).
• Built for Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47+.
• Pure Mixin-based compatibility patch — adds no new items, blocks, or recipes.
