Modification Table
An in-game loot table editor. Open it with /modificationtable (operators only), pick any loot table, and change what it drops – no JSON files, no datapack folders, no reloading by hand.
Browse every loot table
- Creative-inventory style tabs: Chests, Loot Bags, Mob Drops, Fishing, Archaeology, Blocks and Other
- Tables grouped by mod, with readable names ("Village – Weaponsmith" instead of
minecraft:chests/village/village_weaponsmith) - Search by name, or type
@modnameto see one mod's tables - Works with vanilla and modded tables, including Mob Loot Bags
See what a table really gives
- Every pool with its rolls, and every item with its icon, count range, weight and drop chance per roll
- Entries the editor can't change directly (tags, nested tables, conditions) are shown and kept exactly as they were
Change it in a few clicks
- Make items rarer or more common, change min/max counts, remove items, add pools
- Add items with a creative-inventory picker: the same creative tabs (vanilla and modded), search,
@modfilter, and tick as many items as you like, then add them all at once - Only items that really exist in your game can be added, so a table can never break because of a missing item
- Operator-only items (command blocks, barriers…) are hidden unless you switch them on
Save and play
- Saving applies the change instantly – no
/reloadneeded - Reset to original undoes your edits to a table at any time
- Every save is checked by the server before it's written; only operators can edit
Made for modpacks All edits are stored in config/modificationtable/pack/ and apply to every world. Ship that folder with your modpack and your loot changes come with it.
Good to know
- Some mods add loot with code ("global loot modifiers") instead of loot tables – that extra loot isn't shown and can't be edited here
- Drop chances don't include conditions (like looting or "killed by player"); entries with conditions are marked
- Very large tables (over ~30,000 characters) can't be saved yet
- Chests that were already generated or opened keep their old loot
Requires: NeoForge 1.21.1. Needed on both client and server.
