# VECTOR HOLOGRAM ITEMS 1.6.0 The holo map finally loads where you point it, and the floating cards are real two-sided holograms. ## Fixed - **Panning the map now loads the new area.** The server-side far-range sweep used to wipe its whole cache every time the view centre moved even one notch, so a pan showed blank terrain for seconds and then wiped again on the next notch. The cache now carries every overlapping cell across the move and spends its budget only on ground it hasn't seen — panning is incremental, the way you'd expect. - **A band of chunks near the far edge was never scanned.** The sweep counted its grid width from the X axis alone; when the centre sat at a different offset from the chunk boundary in Z, whole southern rows were silently skipped or written to the wrong place. Width and depth are now counted separately. - **Linked projectors fill in.** With LINK on, the renderer reads the array's shifted centre but the server swept only the block's own position — so the second tile onward stayed permanently blank at distance. The server now computes the same link shift and sweeps the same centre the renderer reads. - **The OPS TABLE never swept at all.** The projector runs its far-range sweep from a server ticker the table never registered — panning the table showed nothing beyond loaded chunks. The table now runs the same ticker. - **The sweep resumes after you leave and rejoin** instead of freezing on the saved picture. - **The fullscreen map no longer has holes where the 3D island doesn't.** Unloaded chunks now fall back to the same two caches the island uses — terrain you've walked and the server's far sweep — before being drawn as unknown. - **Cards are two-sided now.** Frames and fills sat on a render layer that culls back faces — from behind, a floating card vanished entirely. Card geometry now draws on a cull-off layer, and the text gets a true back face: walk behind a card and you see its mirror image, the way a transparent hologram should read. The projector's front panel is also readable from behind. - Sweep budgets raised (80 chunks/s scan, 2 loads/tick) so a fresh pan fills in seconds rather than tens of seconds.
