Full list of mod features:
New content:
- Ironwood knives: come pre-enchanted with Unbreaking I
- Steeleaf knives: come pre-enchanted with Sharpness II
- Knightmetal knives: provide a damage boost if attacking an entity from behind. This effect stacks with the backstabbing enchantment
- Fiery knives: will automatically cook any food they slice on a cutting board
- Ice knives: don't do anything special, but they are exclusively loot found in the Aurora Palace. Perfect for a romantic dinner with the snow queen!
- Unique, coherent cabinets for all 8 Twilight Forest wood types
- Ground Venison: obtained from slicing Venison on a cutting board. Can be cooked into a Venison Patty and used in various new recipes
- Minced Meef: obtained from slicing Meef on a cutting board. It and its cooked Patty form can be used in place of recipes that require beef
- Mushgloom colonies: obtained by growing Mushglooms on rich soil. Allows for easier Mushgloom farming!
- Giant Apples are a rare drop from giant leaves. Can be placed as a full block and slices can be eaten by right clicking. Using a knife on the apple will also allow you to get a new Apple Slice item for snacking on the go.
- Breadcrumbs: obtained by slicing Bread on a cutting board. Can be placed as a block that connects to other breadcrumbs, creating trails
- Raw and Cooked Boarkchops: dropped from Boars instead of Porkchops. Will fill slightly more hunger and saturation than normal Porkchops
- Rather than dropping Cod, Helmet Crabs will now drop Shell Fragments and Crab Meat. Crab Meat can be cooked. Raw Crab Meat restores 2 hunger while cooked meat restores 4. Shell fragments can be composted with a 30% chance of filling a level on the composter.
- Maze Wafers can be made into a new Maze Wafer Crust, which can be used in place of normal Pie Crusts in recipes
New Mechanics:
- Tree Tapping: Make a tree tap with wrought iron! Place it on the trunk of a tree with a cauldron beneath and you’ll get Syrup over time. Each tree’s Syrup provides unique benefits when consumed, and these effects can be amplified further when used on a particular dish.
New Meals:
- Venison Kebab: made by crafting sticks, cooked venison, an onion, a mushroom, and a potato together. This food restores 8 hunger and will return your stick back to you when you finish it
- Venison Slider: made by crafting a Venison patty, bread, a cabbage leaf, and a tomato together. Restores 11 hunger
- Venison and Root Veggies: made by throwing raw Venison, a vial of Fiery Blood, and 2 vegetables in a cooking pot. Restores 12 hunger and provides the nourishment effect
- Goulash: made by throwing either ground Venison or minced Meef, tomato sauce, pasta, and bone broth in a cooking pot. Restores 14 hunger and provides the nourishment effect
- Mushgloom Stew: made by throwing Torchberries, Liveroot, bone broth, and a couple Mushglooms in a cooking pot. Restores 8 hunger and provides the nourishment effect
- Fiddlehead Risotto: made by throwing some fiddleheads, rice, and bone broth in a cooking pot. Restores 8 hunger and provides the nourishment effect
- Berry Smoothie: made by throwing milk, sugar, sweet berries, glow berries, and torchberries in a cooking pot. Restores 6 hunger and makes you glow for a short time.
- Maze Cheesecake: made by crafting wheat, torchberries, sugar, and Maze Wafer crust together. Works like a traditional pie in FD, where each slice restores 3 hunger and provides a speed boost
- Crab Quiche: made by throwing either pie crust, 2 crab meat, and 2 eggs in a cooking pot. Despite not being a pie, it works the same functionally where each slice restores 3 hunger and provides a speed boost
New Feasts:
- Crab Cakes: Can be cooked by throwing 2 crab meat, 2 breadcrumbs, an onion, and an egg into a cooking pot. Each feast block creates 4 servings, each serving restores 6 hunger and provides the nourishment effect
- Cooked Crab: When killed with a knife, a helmet crab has a 25% chance to drop an entire crab instead of simple pieces. This crab can be thrown into a Cooking Pot and then placed as a unique feast. In order to get servings, you have to use a knife on the block to cut it up. Each serving will provide different items from the crab. You can get shell fragments, meat, legs and claws. Legs and claws can be eaten like normal crab meat, but will add additional shell fragments to your inventory after you finish. Each cooked crab will give you 8 shell fragments, 8 crab meat, 6 legs, and 2 claws. If a cooked crab is broken before its finished, it will drop a few shell fragments.
- Pancake Stack: Pancakes can be crafted using wheat, sugar, milk, and eggs. Combining 3 pancakes with a bowl will give you a place-able pancake stack. Pancakes can be eaten plain, and will restore 3 hunger each. However, Pancakes can also be topped with Syrup collected from Tree Tappers. When topped with syrup, each Pancake will restore 5 hunger and will provide a stronger amplified effect of whatever syrup you used on them
Misc Compatibility:
- Ham can be scavenged from Boars
- Leather can be scavenged from Deer
- Rabbit Hide can be scavenged from Dwarf Rabbits
- Feathers can be Scavenged from Penguins
- String can be scavenged from all TF spiders
- Maze Wafers and Shika Senbei can be crafted in a cooking pot
- Fiery Sword and Pickaxe also cook items when used on a cutting board
