This Fabric mod automatically allows most non-solid vanilla blocks to be waterlogged with any existing placeable fluid.
It also provides an API that other Fabric mods can make use of to make their own blocks able to be fluid-logged.
Blocks in other Fabric mods that extend from compatible vanilla blocks will automatically be able to be fluid-logged.
Note: Since this mod tweaks many existing blocks to allow for fluid-logging, both the client and server will need to have it installed, otherwise issues may occur.
Removing mods that add new fluids will remove that fluid from existing fluid-logged blocks.
Removing this mod will remove all fluids from existing non-waterloggable blocks, while keeping vanilla waterlogged blocks intact.
Please post issues on the issue tracker on GitHub and not in the comments.
Feel free to use it in any modpacks.

any plans to make this compatible with 1.16.5?
Mod works fine on 1.16.5 single player worlds
but on servers it causes visual bugs.
Mod is broken and takes all my RAM.
Guess what am I gonna ask?
1.16.4
Where you expecting something else? XD
How do you make it so torches and redstone can't be placed underwater? I don't understand how the config file works
edit: disregard, I figured it out! this seems to work. I wasn't sure if it was torch or minecraft:torch so I did both
removedFluidloggableBlocks": ["minecraft:torch", "torch"],
removedWaterloggableBlocks": ["minecraft:torch", "torch"]}
I really love what this mod does, sadly it seems to drop the fps to below 1 whilst playing on Singleplayer worlds, but this issue does not appear to affect Multiplayer worlds, there isnt a crashlog or anything as it doesnt crash the game but removing towellete seemed to fix my issue (in 1.15, i have yet to try it in 1.16) but like i said i REALLY love this mod because of the potential to lava log, only request is that could you possibly make it cross compatible with ExtraPieces? (It adds a lot of blocks that can be waterlogged like layer blocks that are essentially most blocks but like a snow layer) or corners.
Will the version for 1.16 rc-1 work with newer versions (1.16.1)?
This seems to crash 1.16.1. Can we get an update?
as an fyi it say not to repost the mod unless redirected back to this page i found it here http://minecraftmodpacks.net/mods/towelette/
in case you didnt know
4 things:
1) thanks for adding black/white lists, much appreciated
2) what does the "replaceableFluids" option do? I expected it to make it so placing a fluid-logable block in a source would delete the fluid, but I've noticed no differences.
3) Is there a combination of options that lets pistons push fluid-logged blocks and keep their fluid? If not, could you please add an option for this? (without the vanilla restriction that they be 1-ticked)
4) Setting the "enableBlacklistAPI" option to false seems to make all fluid-logable blocks get the missing texture texture.
Crashes the client, when opening doors, but server stays up. Took me 2hrs- to debug and find this mod was causing the problem from my 220+ mods folder. Please fix as soon as possible. 3.1.4 works fine tho.
Crash report: https://pastebin.com/vfgSvQPc
In reply to EddTal:
This should be resolved in 3.1.6. Please let me know if you still experience issues with it.
Incompatible with Adorn
is there a forge version??
In reply to Shadowguardian91:
There currently is no Forge mod for "lava logging"
disregard this. Wasn’t this mod causing the issue I found
The latest version of this mod can't be started. I only have Towelette and Fabric API installed and it says an error occured and the game couldn't be started. No crash-report has been generated...
I'm on:
Towelette: 2.1.1
Fabric API: 0.4.1 Build 245
Fabric Loader: 0.7.2 Build 174
In reply to Kleingrrmpf:
I have the same problem
In reply to Kleingrrmpf:
2.1.2 has been released. Please let me know if you still experience issues with it.
In reply to Virtuoel:
It's fixed. Thanks 😊
can we get a forge version. fabric and forge seem to hate each other... and forge wins the fight
