TorchRedux - an unofficial Torcherino backport.

A compatibility-focused Torcherino port created to bridge unsupported Minecraft and NeoForge version gaps, preserving the classic tick acceleration experience for modpacks caught between official and unofficial releases.

TorchRedux is a community-maintained continuation of Torcherino(Unofficial), focused on bringing classic tick acceleration support to unsupported Minecraft and NeoForge versions.

When official releases stop, skip versions, or move on, TorchRedux keeps your worlds, servers, and modpacks moving.

What is TorchRedux?
TorchRedux preserves the familiar Torcherino gameplay loop by allowing players to accelerate random ticks and tile/entity updates in a localized area.

Use TorchRedux to:

Accelerate crop growth

Speed up furnaces and machines

Boost tree and plant growth

Improve automation testing

Reduce waiting in progression-heavy modpacks

Keep older or in-between versions supported

Why TorchRedux Exists

Many modpacks become stranded between official releases, loader transitions, or unsupported version jumps.

TorchRedux exists to fill those gaps by:

Backporting Torcherino functionality to unsupported versions

Maintaining NeoForge compatibility

Preserving the original gameplay experience

Providing a stable drop-in alternative for pack developers

Features

Classic Torcherino-style acceleration

Lightweight and performance-conscious

Designed for NeoForge ecosystems

Intended to remain close to upstream behavior

Built for players, server owners, and modpack creators
