TorchRedux v1.0.0

TorchRedux officially begins.

This is the first public release of TorchRedux, a community-driven continuation of Torcherino(Unofficial), built to bring classic tick acceleration support to unsupported :contentReference[oaicite:0] and NeoForge versions.

Too many great modpacks get stranded because one essential utility mod never makes the jump.

TorchRedux exists to fix that.

Initial Release

This release includes:

  • Ported Torcherino-style tick acceleration
  • NeoForge support for this target version
  • Accelerated crop and plant growth
  • Faster machine and furnace progression
  • Lightweight implementation designed for modpacks
  • Gameplay behavior intentionally kept close to the upstream experience

Why TorchRedux Exists

If you have ever built the perfect modpack only to realize Torcherino skipped your version, you already understand why this project matters.

TorchRedux was created for:

  • Pack developers supporting overlooked versions
  • Server owners who need dependable utility mods
  • Players who want less waiting and more building
  • Anyone tired of loader transitions breaking great packs

This is not a rewrite.

This is preservation.

Known Notes

As the first public release, community testing is extremely valuable.

Please report:

  • Crashes
  • Compatibility conflicts
  • Unexpected acceleration behavior
  • Dedicated server issues

Use the Issues tab on Github to submit bug reports or feedback.
