TOBI's Mob Utilities
A lightweight mob utility mod that adds harvestable spawners and the Wisdom enchantment for bonus mob XP.
TOBI's Mob Utilities is a lightweight QoL mod that adds a few useful features for mob farming and XP without changing the whole progression system.
Harvestable Mob Spawners
Mob spawners can be mined and picked up instead of being destroyed.
To collect a spawner, you need:
- A Diamond or Netherite Pickaxe
- Silk Touch on the pickaxe
When successfully collected, the spawner keeps the mob type that was inside it. After placing it somewhere else, it will continue spawning that same mob.
Collected spawners are also named based on the mob they contain, making them easier to tell apart in your inventory.
Wisdom Enchantment
The mod also adds Wisdom, an enchantment for Swords and Axes that increases the amount of XP you receive from killing mobs.
Wisdom has 3 levels.
- Wisdom I - roughly 20% more mob XP
- Wisdom II - roughly 40% more mob XP
- Wisdom III - roughly 60% more mob XP
The bonus applies to normal mob kills while using the enchanted weapon.
Wisdom does not increase XP from the Wither or Ender Dragon.
