Tensura ReRebirth
A rebirth (prestige) system for Tensura: Reincarnated. Hit the wall at the top of your evolution line? Be reborn. Reset your progression and come back stronger, with bigger starting skill pools, new race options, skill locking and permanent rewards that stack every time you do it.
Made for the Tensura Restricted modpack, but works standalone on any Tensura modpack.
How it works
Once you meet the requirements, type /rebirth to see your checklist and /rebirth confirm to be reborn. Your Tensura progression is wiped according to your server's settings: everything, race only, skills only, or nothing. Your rebirth level then goes up by one, and each level is harder to reach than the last.
Requirements scale per rebirth
-
EP threshold that climbs on a configurable curve using a base value, multiplier and flat add per level
-
Boss kills: an ordered boss list where each rebirth level requires more kills, tracked per player since their last rebirth
-
Awakening: optionally require Demon Lord Seed, True Demon Lord, Hero Egg, True Hero, or either true form
What you get back
Bigger starting skill pools
The skills you can roll at reincarnation are gated by rebirth level. Fresh players roll from the level 0 pool, and every rebirth can unlock more skills.
Bigger race pools
The races you can pick at reincarnation unlock the same way. Race pools work with every race and evolution stage from Tensura and any installed Tensura addon on the server.
Skill locking
At a configurable rebirth level, players can begin locking skills so they survive the rebirth reset.
Each locked skill takes the place of one random starting skill roll, letting players keep part of their build without simply adding free extra skills on top. Additional lock slots can unlock every configurable number of rebirths, up to a configurable maximum.
Server owners can also choose which skill types are allowed to be locked. By default, only Unique skills are lockable.
Skill locking works with both the vanilla Tensura starter roll and Tensura Gacha Start.
Players can manage their locks directly from the rebirth screen or with:
-
/rebirth lock
-
/rebirth unlock
-
/rebirth locks
Permanent rewards
Reward commands can run at each rebirth level, with per-level overrides available when you want to hand-tune a specific milestone.
The GUI
A star tab is added to the Tensura status menu and also replaces the reset counter medal. It opens the rebirth screen with four main tabs:
The screen shows what the next three rebirth levels unlock, using proper icons and names instead of raw IDs.
Long requirement lists are laid out across two columns and become scrollable when needed, so even large boss requirements remain fully visible. The Skill Pool, Race Pool and Bosses tabs also use two-column layouts to make better use of the screen.
Skill Locks panel
The rebirth screen includes a dedicated Skill Locks side panel.
Click a skill to lock it. Click a locked skill to free the slot again. Locked skills are displayed with their proper icons and names, so players can manage their saved build directly from the GUI.
Staff get a gear button on the panel that opens the skill locking rules in the in-game editor, including lock level, slot progression, slot cap and lockable skill type toggles.
For server owners
Almost nothing needs to be configured by hand.
/rebirth edit opens an in-game editor for operators covering:
-
Difficulty curves with live previews
-
Boss requirements
-
Awakening requirements
-
Skill and race pool gates
-
Per-level skill pools
-
Per-level race pools

Skill locking rules and allowed skill types
Adding pool entries opens a browse picker that lists content from every installed mod, with search and category filters.
Skill filters include types such as Unique, Ultimate and Common. Race filters include starter, middle evolution and max evolution stages.
The pickers remember the last category you selected, so opening another picker no longer resets the filter back to All every time.
Changes save directly to config/trrebirth/prestige.json, and /rebirth reload applies hand-edited config changes live. Reloading also rewrites prestige.json, so newly added config options from mod updates automatically appear in the file.
You can even rename the whole system. The brandName option changes every title, chat prefix and broadcast, so you can call it Prestige, Ascension or whatever fits your server.
Performance
ReRebirth is built with servers in mind.
Configuration reads avoid unnecessary locking, boss kill tracking and pool lookups are cached, GUI lists are not rebuilt every frame, and registry-backed pickers only scan installed content once per session.
Server-synced pool data is used by the GUI, keeping dedicated-server race pool displays consistent with the server's actual configuration.
Integrations
All integrations are optional.
Tensura Restricted
Rebirths can cost and reward Restricted Coins, and every rebirth level adds a permanent quest coin bonus.
Without Tensura Restricted installed, the coin-related systems disable themselves.
TensuraMoreUtils
Banned skills never appear in rebirth pools or starting rolls.
