Tensura: ReReroll

A gacha-style starter system for Tensura: Reincarnated. Originally built for the Tensura Restricted modpack.

Instead of Tensura's default first-login race and skill menus, ReReroll gives you a slot machine. Roll three hidden race options, reveal them, pick your favourite. Then spin again for your starting Unique Skill.

Rerolls are limited. Every spin matters.

🎰 The Gacha

• Works on first login, race resets, full character resets, Reset Scrolls, and the Reincarnation Magic spell.
• Every stage rolls three options and lets you choose one.
• Skill cards show proper icons, full descriptions and difficulty.
• Race cards show Start / Mid / Max stat bars for Aura and Magicules, so you can compare long-term progression before committing.
• Custom pixel-art interface with its own buttons, cards, panels and animated spin bar.
• Reroll count sits on the button itself: Re-Roll (2/5), or Re-Roll (∞) for unlimited.
• Reroll count, spin duration and card stagger are all configurable.
• Bonus rerolls can come from the Tensura reset counter, or from ReRebirth prestige levels.
• Race rolling and skill rolling are separate switches. Turn one off for Tensura's normal menu, or both off to disable the gacha.
• Respects the Rimuru Mode and NoUniqueStart game rules.
• Close the screen or disconnect mid-roll and your pending roll comes back instead of leaving you stuck.

👀 Pool Preview

• Pools button in the top-right of the gacha screen.
• Separate Races and Skills tabs showing everything you can currently roll, with proper icons and names.
• Respects the configured roll pools, ReRebirth prestige requirements, and skills you already own.
• Counts update live as your options change during the session.
• Nothing eligible? You get a clear message instead of an empty list or a silent default skill.

🎲 Roll Pools

• One Roll Pool per category, replacing the old blacklist / allowlist modes.
• The editor shows a live count of how many entries can actually roll right now.
• Pools seed themselves from everything registered on the server, addon content included.
• Install an addon and its races and skills join the pool on the next server start. Anything you removed on purpose stays removed.
• Search filters the pool and works with the skill-type and race-stage filters.
• Type an id like tensura:slime and press Enter to add it without browsing.
• Entries locked behind a ReRebirth prestige level are tagged rebirth, so you know why they aren't rolling.

🔁 Tensura ReRebirth Integration (optional)

• Rolls can use your currently unlocked prestige pools, including addon races, addon skills and system Unique Skills that never appear in Tensura's default starter lists.
• Each prestige level grants a configurable number of extra starter rerolls.
• The pool preview respects your current ReRebirth level.
• If a prestige lookup fails, you're safely treated as prestige level zero instead of throwing an error.

🚫 TensuraMoreUtils Integration (optional)

• Skills banned through TensuraMoreUtils are excluded from rolls automatically.

🛠️ In-Game Editor

Open it with /rereroll editor (operator permission required).

• Configure everything without touching the config file.
• Rename the gacha, change reroll count, adjust roll speed and animation timing, toggle race and skill rolling, and manage both roll pools.
• Search across all installed compatible addons.
• Skill filters: Common, Unique, Ultimate and other supported types.
• Race filters: Starter, Middle and Max evolution stages.
• Search works alongside the filters, on both sides of the editor.

⚙️ Customization

• The displayed gacha name is fully customizable.
• Servers control reroll count, reset-counter bonus rerolls, rerolls per ReRebirth prestige level, spin duration, card stagger, both roll pools, and external blacklist imports.
• A UUID list can grant unlimited rerolls to specific players for testing and admin work.
• Most settings can be changed live in the in-game editor.

💻 Commands

• /rereroll editor — opens the settings editor. Operator only.
• /rereroll pool reset — rebuilds both roll pools from everything currently registered. Operator only.

📄 Configuration

Server config lives in tensurareroll-server.toml. Most of it is editable live in-game.

⚠️ Compatibility

• Not compatible with Tensura Gacha Start.
• Requires NeoForge 21.1.0+.
• ReRebirth, TensuraMoreUtils and BlacklistSkill are all optional. Missing one just disables its integration.
