Tensura: ReRepair
Tensura ReRepair is a server-side compatibility, performance, balance, and bug-fix mod for Tensura: Reincarnated modpacks.
It was originally created for—and remains heavily geared toward—the Tensura Restricted modpack. Many of its most extensive fixes, balance changes, integrations, and recovery systems specifically target issues found in Tensura Restricted and its related addons.
ReRepair can still be used in other Tensura modpacks. Every integration is optional: when a supported mod is installed, its fixes activate; when it is absent, those fixes simply do nothing.
No client installation is required when using ReRepair on a dedicated server.
ProjectE and TR Nightmare Compatibility
TR Nightmare includes an embedded copy of ProjectE.
When the full version of ProjectE is also installed, both copies can attempt to register the same CraftTweaker type names. This causes red error messages to appear in chat when joining a world.
ReRepair hides TR Nightmare’s embedded ProjectE integration from CraftTweaker, including its Zen classes, expansions, and native type names. This allows the real ProjectE installation to register normally.
The embedded copy is also kept dormant during gameplay.
ReRepair skips its core and client initialization, disables TR Nightmare material creation systems, and mutes its EMC tooltip and player-data synchronization handlers.
This includes systems related to skill modes, keybinds, understanding, and daemon binding.
Server Performance
ReRepair includes several optimizations intended for large or heavily modded Tensura Restricted servers.
The Elemental Realm’s per-chunk tick cost is removed.
NPC combat sanity checks, possession controls, and mob skill autocast scans are throttled to reduce unnecessary processing.
The Gene Editor’s reflection lookups are cached instead of being repeatedly rebuilt. Before this optimization, the system could consume roughly nine percent of the server tick.
Inventory advancement checks are processed in batches while still granting every advancement correctly.
ReRepair also fixes Mekanism chunk-save spam, a Mekanism-related chunk deadlock, and a concurrency crash involving skill storage.
Apotheosis affix loot-rule log spam is also silenced.
Crash and Player Recovery Fixes
ReRepair blocks invalid NaN damage values at their source and records them in the server log.
These values could previously leave players trapped in an undying state at zero health. Players already affected by this issue are automatically repaired when they log in.
The mod also fixes a StackOverflow crash caused by the Illusion Lantern.
A NullPointerException involving Fertilizer and Infinimeal is prevented.
DeferredHolders pointing toward missing datapack registries, including TR Nightmare engravements, no longer cause “Registry not present” crashes.
Requirement-check message spam from skills such as Genesis, Nihil, and Assassin Emiya is suppressed.
Tensura Restricted Progression Fixes
Jeremi’s scenario EP rewards now add directly to the player’s true EP.
Previously, these rewards could be calculated using suppressed EP, causing demon players to receive incorrect rewards or lose progression.
The Sponsor Severance Seal no longer permanently locks players out of future sponsor offers.
Players already affected by this bug are automatically restored.
Godly Craftsman and Researcher enchantment libraries now survive character resets and rebirths.
Tensura Restricted Nightmare sentient bosses now grant EP and souls using the same reward rules as otherworlder kills. They are no longer incorrectly excluded from rewards like the Elemental Colossus.
Killing another player no longer grants EP or souls. This also applies when the kill is performed through a tame, subordinate, summon, or another owned entity.
Tensura Restricted Balance Changes
The Sponsor Severance Seal has been substantially reworked.
It now requires 5,000,000 EP, consumes 99 percent of the player’s EP, and immediately provides three sponsor offers.
It also severs permanent Constellation sponsors.
The item tooltip displays all requirements, costs, and consequences.
The Pearl of the Void no longer provides complete status-effect immunity.
Its previous immunity blocked every effect, including beneficial buffs and Infinite Regeneration. Its death-save chance has also been disabled, and its tooltip has been updated to match its actual behaviour.
All Tensura Restricted Nightmare enchantments have had their combat effectiveness reduced by 80 percent.
Feldway shade skills, including Asmoday and related abilities, now deal 20 percent of their previous damage and have five times longer cooldowns.
Ultimate-type skills from all supported addons now deal half their previous damage and have twice the cooldown duration.
Enchantment Limit
Items can now hold a maximum of 15 applied enchantments.
Godly Craftsman may still store an unlimited number of enchantments in its library, but only 15 can be placed on one item.
When an item has access to more than 15 enchantments, the enchantments with the highest levels are prioritized.
Elemental Realm Fixes
Allays and vexes can no longer spawn inside the Elemental Realm.
Existing allays and vexes found within the realm are automatically removed.
The realm’s previous per-chunk processing cost has also been eliminated.
Pack Quality Improvements
Voice of the World announcements from Elite Tensura are capped to prevent chat flooding.
Skills banned through TensuraMoreUtils can no longer repeatedly trigger announcements.
Constellation sponsor item rewards can be added to a configurable whitelist so legitimate rewards are not incorrectly blocked.
ReRepair also supports configurable Tensura statistics for mobs from any installed mod.
EGO speech now displays translated dialogue instead of raw translation keys. [Trnightmare]
This correction applies to every EGO personality.
Player Skill Removal
Players can remove one of their own skills using:
/revokeskill <skill>
This provides a safe way to discard unwanted or problematic skills without requiring direct player-data editing.
Smart Auto-Disable
ReRepair can automatically step aside when an upstream mod receives its own official fix.
In auto mode, relevant legacy fixes only apply while TR Nightmare is older than the configured fixed_version.
The default fixed version is 1.0.4.
Once the installed TR Nightmare version reaches or passes that value, ReRepair disables the outdated patches automatically.
The available modes are auto, on, and off.
Commands
/tsfixes reload
Reloads the Constellation item-reward whitelist.
This command requires operator permission.
/tsfixes fixenchants [player|@a]
Trims items that exceed the 15-enchantment limit.
/revokeskill <skill>
Allows players to remove one of their own skills.
Configuration
The configuration file is located at:
config/tensurarerepair.properties
Configuration options control automatic patch disabling, fixed-version detection, Constellation reward whitelisting, custom mob statistics, and other compatibility behaviour.
Optional Integrations
ReRepair is heavily designed for Tensura Restricted, but its integrations remain modular.
TR Nightmare, ProjectE, CraftTweaker, Tensura, Elite Tensura, TensuraMoreUtils, ManaScore, and Jeremi’s Tensura are treated as optional targets.
Fixes only activate when the relevant mod is present.
Requirements
Minecraft: 1.21.1
Mod Loader: NeoForge 21.1.224 or newer
Although ReRepair can operate without most of its supported integrations, it provides the greatest benefit in large Tensura Restricted packs where these mods are used together.
