ScreenDeath

Replaces Minecraft's plain death screen with a cinematic, fully customizable death sequence - a VHS/glitch and more scene with a random message, your own background, custom sounds, and a short immunity when you come back so you're not instantly killed on respawn.



Inspired by the mod created by Litewer: Epic Death Screen, adding various customizations and extras.

Everything is driven by a simple config file (no commands needed) so each player (or server) can shape the whole experience.

What you can customize?

6 built-in visual styles:

• VHS
• Glitch
• TV static
• Blood
• Broken Glass
• Void
  Each with its own background effect.
  
  Random death texts: write your own list; a random one shows each death.
  
  Custom background: drop a .png or animated .gif and use it as the scene.
  
  Custom sounds: your own death and respawn sounds (.ogg), with volume, pitch and looping.
  
  Respawn immunity: configurable seconds of invulnerability, with an on-screen glitch effect while it lasts.
  
  Respawn mode: instant cinematic + auto-respawn, or keep the vanilla button and apply the effect when you respawn.
  
  Multi-language support. Visuals are per-player (client); immunity is server-side.
