- **`background_opacity`** option — control the opacity of the solid underlay behind the scene, or set it to `0` to make it fully transparent (the world renders through, letting you use a transparent overlay image).
- **`none`** death style — a new option in `death_variant` that shows no effect at all, only the background/image.

- Fixed the death scene playing twice in some cases.
