Some dynamically created keybindings can bypass normal category registration. When Minecraft sorts those bindings, a missing category can cause the keybinding list to fail.

Savaru Key Category Fix registers missing categories just before keybindings are compared, helping the Controls menu handle those bindings correctly.

What it does

• Registers missing categories encountered during keybinding sorting.
• Keeps existing registered categories intact.
• Logs newly registered categories to help identify affected bindings.
• Works automatically, with no configuration screen or setup required.

This is a focused compatibility fix for missing category registration. It does not change your assigned keys or resolve duplicate key assignments.

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.21.1, Fabric Loader 0.16.14 or newer, and Java 21 or newer.
• The current build requires Fabric Key Binding API 1.0.47+0af3f5a719, supplied by a compatible Fabric API installation.
• Client-side only; no server installation is required.

Place the mod in your client's mods folder and restart the game.
